Jace turned around and smiled.
"Will? Liam?" He ran over to us.
"Oh hey Jace," Liam smiled.
"I didn't think i'd bump in to you guys!" Jace exclaimed, "literally, i bumped into you." He said looking at me.
I blushed a little, "Yeah you did."
"You wanna come with us back to my place?" Liam asked, changing the subject.
"Yeah thatd be great," Jace smiled.
We went back to my house and played some video games. Jace was telling us how he just got back from a gay gamp his parents sent him and his brother to to "ungay" him. He wouldnt stop talking about his friends that he made there. Usually this stuff would be boring to me. The way he talked about them. His eye lit up in a happy energy and he seemed like nothing could bring his happiness down. I could tell he cared about them. Im glad I had people I cared about that way. Especially Liam. I wonder if they talk about me that way. I found myself not being able to look away from his smile when he was talking. He was so optimistic about them.
"It's funny, I have a friends named Liam. He's so helpful and listens when I need him. Also, he's a really good cook. You should try his cake! It's the best! Shane is a little dark sometimes but it's just him trying to help. He doesnt talk alot which sometimes scares me because I think he might've died. He has this heart disease that isnt that bad but can escalate very fast. Oh my god. I hooe he's ok. What if he's not? Oh no. Oh no." Jace continued on and on and then looked up wide-eyed.
"I am so sorry i've been talking to much havent I?" He apologized, "I just never get to brag about them because of my unsupportive parents. I'm So sorry."
Liam was the first to speak up, "No it's fine. Your friends sound really cool."
"Thanks," Jace said, "I got to go, want to make sure Shanes ok."
We said our goodbyes and made plans to hang out tomorrow.
