I was talking to Shelby when I noticed that she had fallen asleep. I smiled and then looked around. This was all going to end soon. The convention was the day after tomorrow. Shelby will fly back to California. I'll be depressed again. While I was worrying about what I was going to do with myself when Shelby was gone, I fell asleep. I woke up to Shelby shaking me.
"What?" I groaned.
"It's almost 2 Graser! We slept for like, half the day!" She said.
"Uh, So?" I questioned. Shelby pouted.
"It's my last day in Canada!" She said. I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"Ok?" I asked.
"We can do something as a family!" She squealed. I blushed.
"Did you just say ...family?" I asked quietly. Her face turned blood red.
"I...What?" She asked. Right when she said that there was a knock on my door.
"I'm coming in! You kids better be decent!" I heard Josh yell. I blushed harder. Seriously Josh? Not the time. He opened my door with his hand over his eyes.
"Josh, shut up." I groaned. He laughed and uncovered his eyes.
"What were you two talking about?" He asked.
"She called us family." I smirked. Shelby covered her face. Josh blushed.
"Oh. Seriously?" He asked, taken a back, " I've always wanted a sister!" He hugged her. She laughed.
"Whoever said I was going to be your sister? I could be a cousin or something." Shelby stated.
"Well, I just assumed you'd be my sister in-law." Josh smirked. Me and Shelby looked at each other then looked away quickly.
"Oh." Shelby whispered.
"Josh can't you bother anyone else besides us?" I asked annoyed.
"No. Mom went to work." He laughed.
"What do you want then?" I asked.
"Was wondering if you wanted to hang with me and my friends. I don't ant you two in the house alone if you know what I mean." He winked. I threw a pillow at his face.
"I want to go!" Shelby exclaimed.
"Fine I guess." I muttered.
We got ready and walked to a skate park. Josh found his friends and I almost puked when I saw who was with them. I pulled Josh aside.
"Why the hell is Emma here?" O growled once we were far enough away.
"I'm sorry. She's my friend's cousin and she came along. I swear I didn't know." He explained.
"Fine." I whispered and we walked back towards the group.
"Who's Zach's new girlfriend?" Josh's friend teased. Josh laughed.
"Some stupid Cali girl that thinks she can get whatever she wants." Emma scoffed. Everyone looked at her. Josh laughed nervously.
"Shelby? No. She just moved to L.A. She's actually from New Jersey and she's one of the coolest girls I've met." Josh said and smiled towards Shelby. Shelby blushed and looked down.
"Whatever. Seems like she has everyone under her spell." Emma growled.
"What has gotten into you Em?" Josh's friend said.
"I'm just stating facts. Zach can date whoever he wants but I'm just trying to warn him about the fake ones." She laughed. Only no one else did.
