Tenitra Michelle Willams was born on July 23rd 1980, although she went by the name Michelle Willams. She grew up in Illinois. She sang in churches across the Midwest. She got her big break in the late 90s singing backup for accomplished singer Monica. In 1999 she was offically in Destineys Child along with Beyonce Knowles. Kelly Rowland and Farrah Franklin.
