You open your eyes. It's pitch black in your room. You moan. But then you remember where you'll be in about 8 hours. FUCKING LONDON! You bounce out of bed and instantly feel dizzy. You Fight the dizziness and hop in the shower. You wash in a record time. You put on a thin base of concealer and some brightening makeup around your eyes. God knows how exhausted your gonna look. But you packed enough magazines to last a lifetime. You are supposed to pick up Mackenzie at her parents house in 15 minutes. You run outside with two suitcases bigger than you. You put them in your small car and put it in drive. You push the speed limit since there isn't one other person on the road. You pick up Mackenzie and say goodbye to her parents. They are painfully honest people. You have always loved Mackenzie. But her parents you don't love as much. But they are lovely people. Just not in large doses. You don't let them get in your mind set. And that mind set is high off anticipation and freedom. No homework or parents expectations. No friends judgement or prior reputations. Blank slate. And you intend to fill this slate with only great things. You pull into the airport and park in the Parking Garage. You estimate the fees to be out of the roof. You shrug the thought off. No need to start being negative. You get your boarding passes and get through security. For international flights, your supposed to be their atleast 3 hours early. Boarding passes and security took 2 hours since Logan Airport is a hellhole with people. You only have to wait 45 minutes. Which isn't bad at all. You hear your flight called over the intercom after no time at all. You had your earphones in and when you open your eyes Mackenzie looks a little anxious. You ask what's wrong. "I just really have to pee. Like really bad. I don't think I'm gonna be able to wait until we get through the line onto the plane and until were in the air to go. I'm going to be quick. Just tell them to wait for me. You feel your stomach turn. Your brain says if course she'll be able to make it. Mackenzie is the fastest pee-er you know. But if you'll be able to hold an international plane to London for a 19 year old girl is questionable. To tell her to sprint like her life depends on it. You get her bags and yours and somehow lug them to the smiling flight attendant who collects everyone's ticket. You tell her that your friend is coming. She is just in the bathroom. She gives you a smile before saying "okay. But to be fair to everyone, if your friend isn't back before the last call is said over the intercom, we have no choice but to close the flight doors." You stop breathing quickly. You have never worked well under pressure. "Of course." You say after smiling a small smile. You somehow get the carry-ons overhead and you'd it down, anxiously bouncing your leg. The pilots voice comes over the speaker and says, "ladies and Gentleman, the flight 2858 is ready for lift off. We have just closed the door. We estim-" you jump from your seat and tap the flight attendant that you spoke with just minutes ago urgently. "Hello. Can I help you?" She says sweetly. It annoys you. "The plane can't lift off. My friend hasn't gotten back." Her smile drops. "I'm sorry. Like I said, the door is closed. It is against our contract to open it again." Your eyes are stuck wide open. "Ma'am, I'm sorry but your going to have to take your seat." You nod and find your way to your seat." You stare out the window. The plane starts to move out of the designated spot to attach to the walkway. You swear you see Mackenzie's face in the huge glass windows in the airport.

You finally land. The first thing you do is pull out your phone and call Mackenzie. You don't even care about the crazy fees you are gonna charge. "Hey babes." She answers cooly. "MACK! Oh my god! Where were you?? You said you were gonna be fast! How are you gonna be here? Oh my god! You must be so upset! Oh my god!" Your freaking out and she isn't even interrupting you like she usually does. "Kels, it's fine. It's all gonna work out. Don't worry. I'll get there. The airport said they can give me a discount on a flight that is much smaller and not as nice plane. They are planning on leaving in a couple weeks. The flight will be ten hours instead of 6 but, ya know, it's part of the experience." You chuckle. Only Mackenzie can take something that made you unhappy for the last 6 hours seem like the best plan ever. "So your okay?" You ask. You can't help yourself. You know the answer already but still you ask. "Yea. I mean, I would rather be there now, but I get cheaper tickets, they're refunding me, and I get the experience. So it all works out in the end." You smile. "Okay we'll get off the phone! Your blowing up my phone bill!" She yells. "Okay!" You laugh. "Bye. Love you!!!" She says it back and you hang up. You turn your phone on airplane mode. You run to the closest drugstore.

You turned on your phone for 5 minutes only when you made a group message with all the regulars saying to call your pay-as-you-go phone number to contact you. You did the math and the fees would be much cheaper that way. You find Joes address you wrote in your phones note app. You use your payed phone (which you chose to call "the little Brit" since the automated voice is British and what you imagine to be a small elderly British woman. Plus it's easier to say that than pay-as-you-go phone). Joe answers uncertainly. "Hello?" He says. You find it amazing that he answered. You personally would NEVER answer an unknown number. "Hello. Joseph Sugg?" You ask like a telemarketer. You found his actual number in the England Phone book. You didn't think it would be correct, but the voice sounds like his. "Uh yes. Who is this?" You chose to ignore this question. "If I have done my calculations correct, the package I sent you should be outside your front door now. If you could please stay on the phone while you open the door so I can hear your reaction, that'd be great." "Ummm.... Am I going to be shot?" He asks. "Do you have the guts to find out?" You ask. You are standing outside his front door. You hear footsteps approaching. Then the door handle turns.
