We waited in line to pass our tickets in for 2 hours. It was hell. All these girls fangirling over regular people. It made me kinda anxious. Meghan looked like she was absorbing all of it. Like she was experiencing it from another person. She had a blank face on and her eyes were wide. I would try to start to talk to her but she wouldn't respond until I shook her gently. At that point, what I was going to say was worthless. When we finally got in, she woke out of her trance. She was jumping up and down as we passed panels and signings. I was happy she was happy, but it was 7 in the morning and I didn't have any coffee. We were scheduled for a panel with a youtuber named Zoella. Meg loved her and I admit she is very pretty. Meg tried to get me to join the YouTube band wagon but it just didn't stick. I would rather read or watch netflix. But to each their own. Meg and I stopped at a small concession stand and I bought a large coffee and meg was too hyped on excitement for caffeine. So she bought a muffin. We found a fountain to sit on and ate and drank there. As I was collecting the trash to throw it away, an awful sound erupted from the far corner. It was the sound of screaming teenagers. I threw away the trash before diving in my bag for an aspirin. Meg had jumped up and stood on the fountain edge to get a better look at what everyone was fussing about. "OH. MY. GOD. ITS ZOE!!!" meg screams. I smile in spite off the blossoming headache at my temples.

"We can probably get a better angle if you hold the camera, since you don't have someone's huge head in the way!" She harshly whispers to me. I stifle a laugh. She passes me the camera. "Thanks Kelsey. This was the best birthday present ever!" Meg had already told me this atleast twenty times before, but I think realization washes over her every once in awhile. I smile as I hold the camera up in an uncomfortable angle. Then Zoella comes out and all the girls in a 20 yard radius gasp. I giggle a little, causing the camera to shake. I quickly right myself and listen.

I start to zone out until Zoella says she has a special guest coming into the stage. Her brother, who I learn after she explains after all the girls stop screaming 'I love you!' at him, is very attractive. He is attractive, but he is very strange. When he first came out I was taken aback by his looks. But when he made a joke, it was a little off putting. But as the time went on, he started to grow on me. I found myself thinking about him after the panel was over.

"I had NO idea Joe would be there! what are the chances that Joe would be there too?!? You got the best tickets Kels! Perfect timing!" I nod as I'm only half listening. We have Zoellas signing to go to next. We wait in the line while Meg has her homemade Zoella shirt in her hand. Joe isn't signing, but as we wrap around the last cone I see he is sitting next Zoe talking to all the blushing girls. He seems to attract the lot of them. I feel myself getting annoyed at that. I hate players. I hear him laughing and all the girls giggling. I roll my eyes. Finally it's our turn. Zoe smiles broadly and meg almost loses it. I hold her up as she hugs Zoe across the table and as Zoe asks her name she becomes speechless. "Meghan" I tell Zoe so there's no awkward silence. "And what's your name?" I hear Joe ask me. I turn to home with my eyebrows raised. "Mine?" I ask. He smiles like he expects the world to tell him their name right there and then. I feel butterflies in my stomach. His face said player but his eyes were so sincere. I felt like I was the only girl he looked at. "Kelsey." I say flatly. He smiles a little wider. "It suits you." I raise an eyebrow in question. I don't know if that was flirting or just a fill in for an awkward moment. I turn to see Meg looking uneasy again. I assist her as Zoe gives a final hug. We're walking away when I hear someone calling my name. At first I don't turn, Kelsey is a pretty popular name and when your in a crowd of teenage girls you never know. But when my name is called again I have to turn. I turn to see Joe right behind me. And he's doing that stupid smile that makes me feel uncomfortably comfortable.
