"Whatever it is, I don't think I can handle it." Sagot ko kay Pat.
"But I think you need to know. Para naman maka move on ka na." Si Pat.
Hinigit ni Lana si Pat palabas ng room namin. "I'll first listen to her and I'll react first then tatsahin mo kung gusto mong malaman or not. Okay?"
Tumango ako. See. Lana is the best kind of friend. She knows how to handle things. I'll always be grateful.
So yes that confession. Everybody knew na nagkakatext na kami ni Fourth. Inaasar-asar nila kami. I was good at hiding my feelings. Di ko pinapakita na kinikilig ako. And Lana is always mocking me for that.
"Alam mo pabibo ka!" Pang-aasar niya samin pabalik ng dorm.
"Eh kasi naman. May jowa yung tao!" Giit ko.
Damn right. He's in a long term relationship. Since first year high school ata sila ni girl. They're in an on and off relationship at ngayon nagkakamalabuan daw sila. But still, nasa isang relasyon pa siya. And, I'm still hurt from my past.
"Or natatakot ka na baka marebound ka na naman." Sagot niya.
"You know I've built walls around my heart dahil diyan." I answered while texting.
He texted me again. Well after the GM I made. That was clearly for him and I think alam niya yon. It states that: I have built strong walls around my heart but you managed to break them down.
"Ready?" Tanong sakin ni Fourth. I nodded nervously.
Ngayon na ang play namin and I really can't hide how nervous I am. Sa play kasi namin iiyak ako eh. Kung bakit napunta sakin ang role na ito ay hindi ko na alam. This shouldn't be my role in the first place. Isang araw sinabihan nalang ako na I switched roles.
"Is Glyde here?" Tanong ni Fourth. We are currently acting out na.
"No he isn't here. Come inside." Pinapasok ko siya.
What he did next was not in our script which made me blush. I can't contain my kilig since nasa harapan kami ng lahat. Damn it!
"Anong oras na ba?" Tanong niya. Clearly not in our role. When I lifted my hand to look at my watch, he intertwined our fingers.
Lahat ng tao kinikilig, including me. Fourth really is taking me. I'm really falling for him real hard.
After our play he texted me, "Congrats. Sabi sayo kaya mo eh! ;)" Everyone congratulated our group kasi maganda raw talaga ito.
"Lans, alis kayo?" Tumayo kasi siya kasama ng ibang friends namin.
"Yep. Pabili ka?" Tanong niya. Tumango naman ako.
"Max lang. Yung red. Thank you!" Sagot ko.
I was patiently waiting for Lana when it was Fourth who approached me. Kinikilig silang lahat while he was getting closer. Naglagay siya ng tatlong fress sa arm chair ko. It says: "Good job", "Congrats" and "Nice".
And I never ate those candies. They were kept inside my wallet.
