Chapter 13. Perfect PE

Percy's POV

My friends and I headed to the Gym/PE whatever you say it. But first we went to our lockers and took our clothes. Our gym teacher is Coach Darren. Today we were going to do exercise and warm up and a game of dodgeball.
"How many new kids?" Coach Darren asked. We all stepped forward.
"Eleven. Are you all good?" he asked.
We nodded.
He divided us- demigods- in one team and the jocks and other guys in the other.
"All right. I want you people to Run 5 miles of this room without a break in teams" he said.
Easy. I thought. I bet others did too.
"We can defeat you easily, losers." Liam said.
"Let's see" I said.
Coach Darren sent Frank, Piper, & Jason from our team and Sydney, Larry and Anna from the other team came forward. Larry winked at Piper. She ignored.

Anna's POV

I'll easily beat that dumb Piper and Jason will fall for me. I thought.
I definitely can finish before her and impress everyone.
"Get ready to lose Piper" I taunted.
"Oh really?" she said.
As Coach Darren told us to begin we started running.
We ran at same pace for the first 15 seconds and they went ahead of us.
They were pretty fast. Very fast.
But I couldn't lose. I had to defeat that Piper. I ran ahead with Larry and left Sydney behind. I was getting tired and still couldn't reach them. They had finished 4 miles while we had finished only 2 and a half mile. They finished before us. Coach Darren looked impressed.
"5 miles in 12 minutes. Good" he said.

Liam's POV

I liked Annabeth. She was the hottest girl in the whole school. And she had a boyfriend but I didn't know who's he. I had to defeat them. If I did I'd impress her and she would date me.
"If I win, you'll come on a date with me" I told her.
"She will not. And anyways we're going to win, so just dream" Percy said.
"We'll defeat you easily" Thalia said.
From our team, Amy, Clark & I were the fastest runners.
"Let's see who wins" Amy said.
Coach Darren told us to start.
They were fast. All of them. They completed 5 miles while we were still starting our 3rd mile. Coach Darren looked surprised.
"9 minutes 40 seconds. Very good" Coach Darren said totally impressed.
Everyone from their group defeated all of us. How could they run so fast?
"See who's the loser" said all of them screamed together.

Percy's POV

"Wanted to go on a date with my girlfriend? Here you go." I taunted.
"You're her boyfriend?" Liam asked.
"Yeah. I'm her boyfriend" I said.
I pulled Annabeth closer to me by her waist and kissed her.
"Hey Percy. No PDA" Thalia screamed.
I kissed Annabeth again.
"Yeah. Of course" Leo said and grinned.
We defeated everyone in everything Coach Darren told us to do.
He was very impressed by all of us. Specially Annabeth, Thalia & I as we were the fastest runners.
Annabeth made a new school record of rope climbing in exactly 7 seconds.
Thalia could knockdown anyone & I was good at everything. All us, demigods, were better than the rest, atleast in PE and Greek.
We still had a lot of time so Coach Darren made us play Dodgeball.
We demigods in one team again and the rest in another.
Liam was the first one to throw the ball. I catched it easily with one hand and threw it back with a lot of force and it hit Clark right on his stomach. He looked shocked.
Larry threw the ball at Jason. He too catched it and threw the ball back that hit Larry on his head and he fell down.
Amy threw the ball at Annabeth she catched it and spun the ball at her and she fell back. By the end of the class Coach Darren called everyone and we were dismissed.
