It took me a few days to learn where everything was but I finally got the hang of it. I got bored alot and my dad wouldn't let me do anything dangerous. So mainly I tried to locate this John Harrison. He was quite a piece of work. Not in a good way. Countless murders. Robery. Kidnap. This guy gave me the creeps. Scotty and I had worked together trying to find him with little to no success.
"I don't get it. We get a lead and then the dude disappears again. Do you think he knows we are tracking him?" I ask Scotty.
He types something into one of the computers. "Maybe. It's hard to say." He says.
I shake my head and turn back to my computer. A small red dot appears in the left corner. That's him.
"Dad...er...Captain! I got a hit." I say.
My dad gets up from the captain's chair and runs over to me. He places a hand on the back of my chair and bends over me. I point out the dot. My dad smiles.
"We got him! I need Spock." Says my dad walking towards the ship bay.
This may be my only shot at actually getting in on some of the action! Quickly I get up and run after my dad. He is speed walking so I have to jog to keep up.
"Kiah they need you back there." He says.
"Dad. Hear me out! Remember when I said I was almost fluent in Kilngon. Well I can't help but notice we are in Klingon space." I say panting a bit.
"No Kiah. I don't want you getting hurt." He says.
"But dad. I know how to deal with them! And besides no offence but it's so boring here! I'm on the computer all day watching really stupid space soap operas! I need some excitment...some adventure! Please dad! I'm a big girl now! I can handle myslef." I say.
My dad stops mid stride. He turns and faces me placing a hand on my shoulder. His blue eyes shine against the white walls of the ship.
"Kiah..." He starts.
Spock interupts him . "Captain if I may interject. If your daughter were to come with us there is a 86.7% chance of catching the fugetive. If she did not that chance is reduced to only 22.7%. I feel the logical option here is to let her come." Said Spock.
A huge smile crossed my face. My dad crossed his arms and huffed. He looked around for a few moments.
"Alright! Get you phaser Kiah. I hate that you can't lie Spock." said my dad brushing past the vulcan.
I squealed in delight. Quickly I ran through the halls to grab my gun. Once in hand I rushed back to where my dad and Spock were waiting. They led me down a corriodor to one of the smaller ships. I climb inside and buckle myself in. My dad sits on the left of me and Spock is on my right.

The ride through Klingon space was grueling and tense. I could tell my dad didn't want me there. I know I'm his only child but I'm almost 18! He can't treat me like I'm 12. Not anymore. I won't let him.
We had been doing a good job so far of staying hidden. I felt safe enough to whirl around and ask my dad a question. As I did my hand hit a button. It wouldn't have been so bad if that button was our cloaking device! Our ship was now revealed and shots could be heard. My dad glared at me and I cowered away. I spun back around and frantically tried helping my dad shiled our ship once again.
"Captain I think it would be best if we landed." Shouted Spock.
"No keep her in the air!" Countered my dad.
"I think Spock is right dad! Let's land her and I can talk to the Klingons." I yell over the roar of lasers.
My dad presses against his temples and sighs sharply. "Fine...Spock take us down!" commands my dad.
Within seconds we are safely on the ground. I put my phaser in my belt and slowly walk out side. My dad and spock waited at the door.
*The following conversation is the the Klingon Language*
"What are you human scum doing here in our space?" Yelled the chief.
He had piercings everywhere and wrinkles the covered his entire face. His body seemed to glow red. I ignored it.
"We are looking for a fugitive. I am certain he has killed many of your people. He has killed many of ours as well. His name is John Harrison. Do you know if he's here?" I ask.
The Klingon army laughs in unison. I become tense with fear.
"John Harrison? There is no such person." Says one of the Klingon.
"Yes there is. We have tracked him to this planet specifically." I say firmly.
"You dare question us. The race that willingly lets you live." says the chief inching towards me. I tense up once more.
He reaches out a hand wrapping it around my neck. I gasp for air. Before any true damage can be done phasers being fired fill the air. The Klingon leader drops me. I cough a few times before regaining my strength and joining the fight. I fire at a few soilders and they fall to the floor either wounded or dead. A flash of black runs past me. I run after thinking it may be an officer trying to escape or get more troops. I aim but the figure whips around and fires at me. I leap behind a pile of garbage to avoid the blast. I loose my footing and fall down. A cut forms on my hands. I grab it and grit my teeth. Someone grabs me and hoists me to my feet. I look up to see my dad.
"Did you see him?" He asks frantically.
I nod and point the direction the black blur went. He places a hand on my face as if to say thank you then runs off in the direction I pointed. The firing stops. I can hear voices negotioating so I get up and follow them. By the time I reach them I get a glimpse of who I am assuming is John Harrison. He has light green blue eyes. His hair is shaggy and pitch black like mine. His face is shaped a lot like mine too. That's odd. My dad orders his men to cuff the fugitive and bring him aborad our ship. I follow them back. The whole time I keep turning back to look at the prisoner. He sure looks a lot like me. I can't get over the resemblance.
