Chapter 2: Annyeonghaseyo

Jeon Jungkook's P.O.V

I walked to my class looking down at my shoes. They're my new pair. To be exact, my 733rd pair. Yeah, I know it's a lot. My mom buys me too much stuff because we're rich.

I sat down on my desk and took my math book out. The teacher arrived five minutes later, with a new student who wore sunglasses.

"Good morning everyone! We have a new student today! Introduce yourself." The teacher said.

"A-An..." She looked like she was about to pee herself.

"It's okay. No need to be nervous." The teacher said.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Kang Jiwon-imnida." She said.

"Tell us something about yourself." The teacher said.

"I just moved here a-and I li-like music..." She said quietly.

"Good! You can sit next to Jungkook." The teacher said. The teacher led her to me.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Jeon Jungkook-imnida." I said whispering to her but she just ignored me. I coughed and tried to say it more clearly.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Jeon Jungkook-imnida." She didn't even flinch. Is she deaf or something? I walked in front of her and looked straight in her eyes. But it looked like she was staring at nothing. I moved a bit to the right to see any response from her eyes. There was none. Then she suddenly stood up and bowed. But she didn't bow to me, she bowed to no one.

"A-Annyeonghaseyo, I'm sorry but I don't want any new friends. I'm sorry if I offended you somehow." She said, still not facing me.

"Yah, to whom are you bowing?" I asked. She went totally red and changed her position towards me.

"Mianhaeyo!" She said and bowed again very deeply.

"Oh class! I forgot to tell you..." I looked at the teacher what she had to say.

"Jiwon is blind."

I looked at Jiwon. She didn't look like someone who could be blind. Well, what do I know, I'm 10 years old.

I sat on my seat and finally the class began.

Later...

"Yah Jiwon! Why are you avoiding me?" I asked. I was walking after her but she was going faster and faster. It was lunch time.

"I'm not avoiding you. Just ignoring you." She said.

"Are you really ignoring me?" I asked.

"Ne, I'll ignore you so hard that you'll start to doubt your own existence." She said.

"BUURRRNNNN!!!" I heard all my classmates yelling.

"SHUT UP!!" I yelled back at them. I saw Jiwon smiling a bit.

"Yah, did you just laugh?" I pointed at her face. She quickly put back on her pokerface.

"YAH!" She started running and I chased after her. She started giggling and so did I.

"WATCH OUT JIWON!!" She hit a wall. I ran as fast as I could to her.

"Gwaenchanha??" I asked when I reached my hand to her. She stood up by herself and started walking towards the class.

"YAH, WE HAVE LUNCH! ARE YOU NOT GOING TO EAT??" I yelled at her. She hit her foot to a trashcan but she didn't let it bother her. I didn't think much of it and went to eat without her.

The next day I didn't see her. Nor the day after. Where did she go?
