Chapter 23: Plot Twist

Jeon Jungkook's P.O.V

I'm pregnant

I blinked once, twice. I was trying to wake myself up from this nightmare but nothing worked. Is she serious?

"Jungkook? What's wrong?" Jiwon looked concerned.

"I-I need to go." I couldn't think straight. I just needed some time alone.

"Jungkook!" Jiwon yelled at me. I took my car keys and drove somewhere. I don't even know where. I just drove as long as I could. I looked outside and I was at the beach. But this was the side of the beach where people don't come, a so-called secret place. I got out of the car and walked towards the ocean. The breeze was cold and it gently lifted my loose shirt once in awhile. I closed my eyes so that I could think straight. It didn't help. I slowly lifted my right foot towards the water then my left foot. After some steps, I could fell the freezing water flowing to my toes. Yes, I took my shoes off. I walked deeper into the water until my knees touched the water. Well, fuck it. I can as well go further. I walked further but I heard faint screams. I ignored them and walked further.

"JEON JUNGKOOK!!!" I heard it louder now and also some water splashes. I didn't have time to turn around before someone hugged me. I slowly turned my head and saw someone I know very well...

Baek Sarang

"PLEASE DON'T DO IT!!! WE ARE GOING TO BE PARENTS AND GET MARRIED!!!"  Sarang yelled.

"I don't know about that... Are you sure you're pregnant?" I asked with a raspy voice.

"I'M 100% SURE!!! NOW LET'S GET OUT OF THE WATER!!" She still yelled and started pulling me by my sleeve. We got out of the water from the other side of where I came from.

We arrived at my car and she sat me down on the passenger's seat. She gave me a warm towel and landed her scarf on me.

"I'll drive us to my house. My parents will give you warm clothes." She said and started driving. I don't even care where we are going. I'm just too messed up in my head. The whole ride I thought about the 'baby' I was going to be the father of. I'm not ready to be a dad yet! I'm too young. Too immature. 

"Are you sure?" I said out of nowhere.

"Hmm? About what?" Sarang asked.

"About being pregnant."

"Ahh, yes. I even went to a doctor to confirm it." She said. So it's true...

We got to her place and went inside. Her parents weren't yet home. She ran to the bathroom and shortly after came back with a towel, shirt and pants.

"You can put these on." She said. I nodded and put them right there in front of her on me. It's no big deal, we've seen each other naked many times.

"So Jungkook... What're you going to do with Jiwon?" Sarang asked. I didn't answer because I don't know either. I don't know what I'm supposed to tell her. That I'm going to be a dad of a child who's not hers? I love her so much, but that would be too much. I can't do it. I'm going to forget her. Maybe then I'll be happy again.

Kang Jiwon's P.O.V

I walked to the beach trying to find Jungkook there. No one was there. The cold wind blew my hair partly to my face. I watched to the see and then to the sand at my feet. I saw a few meters away a footprint. I followed the footprints and it leads to the sea. But none came back.  It's not Jungkook, right? I hope it wasn't him...

I eventually gave up. I searched for him for five days straight. The members knew where he was but they say they can't tell me. I felt left alone. No one came to me. Except for Suho. 

We decided to start dating.

I started to kinda like him when he said to me he liked me. He was so sweet to him when I worked for SM. He always was worried about my health and kept making things easy for me. He wasn't complicated, he was like the second lead from a Korean drama. The one who you start liking, but still want the main lead to win. The one who's better than the male lead, kinder, sweeter. But I still chose him over my main lead. Because my male lead was far too good for me. Heck, I'm just a makeup artist. The poor girl who gets the rich guy, but my rich guy isn't here anymore. It's a plot twist no one ever wanted. That kind of a plot twist when the watcher starts hating it and drops the drama. That's right, my drama is over. It ended just like that.

You can even say "The end."

Suho came to pick me up from my place. We decided to go on a date since I quit my job and I'm jobless now, I need something to do with my life. 

"Oppa!" I said as I opened my front door for him.

"Yeobo!" He smiled at me.

"Let's go!" He said and grabbed my hand. 

We went to an amusement park. Junmyeon (btw if you don't stan/know EXO, Junmyeon is Suho:) I thought I should just say it)bought me some popcorn and cotton candy. We sat down on a bench to eat and realized how late it was.

"Oppa, it's a little past ten already!" I said.

"Jinjja? Then we're right on time!" He said excitedly.

"For what?" I asked confused but right then I heard a huge bam. I looked around and saw some fireworks. I admired them with big eyes. It looked so pretty! I noticed Junmyeon looking at me and I looked back at him.

"I love you..." He said sincerely.

"I love you too," I said, without knowing if I meant it or not. He slowly leaned forward and kissed me gently. I kissed him back but I didn't feel anything. It was nothing compared to when I kiss Jungkook. It's completely different. Gosh, I miss him so much...
