~Ian's POV~
Mitch and I took cover outside the castle near the portal. Neither of us had a flint and steel and the group had already gone back. I looked up at him, as he was looking around a wall at the many mobs looking for us.
"What happened?" Mitch asked, "Jerome and I were cut off from everyone when they went in because the portal went out then when we finally got a flint and steel, Adam was carried back by Jason and then poof I'm here."
"Well..." I started.
~May's POV~
"So, if Seto is telling the truth, then Herobrine is weak and he can be taken down now?" I asked.
"I guess so.." Tex said, thinking of what to do, "but, if we also can't get back into the Nether, then that means Mitch and Ian are on their own, and they'll be the ones to take down Herobrine. Then the Nether goes to me..."
"Then all we have to do is get a message to Mitch and Ian!" May yelled, looking between me and Seto, "one of you can send a message? Right?" Seto and I looked at each other before smiling.
"Yeah," I responded before going and sending a message to both Mitch and Ian to take down Herobrine, but mostly Ian, as a god of minecraftia needs to be taken down by that of the hand of another god or their child.
~Ian's POV~
"Uh... why did I just hear Tex's voice in my head telling me to kill Herobrine...?" I asked quite confusedly.
"Because I did too and I think that was a sign from her that we need to finish this, c'mon-" I started as I got up to head back, but a wounded Herobrine stood before. He was holding where he was stabbed and slightly panting.
"You are not.. getting away so easily," he said, in a hostile tone.
"We'll see about that!" Ian said, making two swords appear in his hands, then looking amazed as he did that, then looked to Herobrine with a fierce determination in his eyes to take him down. Herobrine chuckled at his attempt to not looked terrified, as he also held a lot of that in his eyes; terror.
~Third Person POV~
Mitch looked around and saw mobs coming from every direction. Ian would be fine on his own if he could keep these mobs from teaming up on him. As Mitch grabbed a golden sword from a pigman and killed it, he swung it at a wither skeleton and took the stone sword from him. Stone for duration, Golden for damage... Mitch thought as he swung at the multitude of mobs.
Herobrine made his own sword appear in his hand and straightened himself up. He waited for Ian to make the first move.
Ian lunges at Herobrine making his swords clash with Herobrines one sword, making sparks fly. Herobrine smirked and threw the sword backwards, making Ian fall back. Herobrine flopped the sword around skillfully and plunged it into the ground with all the force he had. Ian was able to easily dodge he attack, as Herobrine's speed decreased from the amount of blood that was seeping from the wound he had gotten earlier.
Ian saw Herobrine struggle to pull his diamond sword from the ground, and took this has his chance to attack. He lunged again, but Herobrine dodged and made another sword spawn in his hand, frustrated he couldn't get his sword out. The two stood facing each other. Both showing no room for failure.
Mitch had his back against the netherrack walls, surrounded. He had at least taken the mobs attention away from Ian and was content with that. If Herobrine falls, the mobs obey Tex, and Tex won't allow them to kill him. Right?
Mitch dodged a sword as he was swung from a pigman and ran to the nether portal for it to light with that of a fireball from a ghast. Oh yeah! They could do that!
As Mitch continued to fight the mobs, the group; consisting of Tex, Jerome, Ty, Seto, and Jason, came through. Jerome, Jason, Ty, and Seto went to help Mitch with the mobs while Tex went to help Ian, although from the way the fight was looking, Ian was nearly done with the fight.
As both groups fought the enemy behind, beside, and in front of them, Tex and Ian were nearly done with their fight with Herobrine. The two were standing beside each other waiting for the man in front of them to attack. His breathing was ragged and uneven, his stance was slouched, and still had a hand over the wound.
"You know, I never thought my own daughter would try to kill me," he said, looking up at Tex.
"A father doesn't try and kill and take away everything from his daughter," Tex shot back, earning an 'ohhhh' from Mitch and Jerome in the background. Heather and Ian lunged at the same time, making it impossible for Herobrine to go anywhere as he was trapped by both and a wall behind.
Once the mobs had sensed the fall of their master, they stopped and turned to Tex to await their new orders. Tex panted and turned around, seeing that the mobs had turned to her. Tex looked around and saw her friends, now laying on the ground panting and complaining they never want to do anything ever again. Tex chuckles at them and got the mobs to scatter and leave her friends alone.
"Well that was fun, let's never do it again," Jason stated, as he sat up and leaned against the wall of the netherrack.
"Agreed," came a chorus from everyone, as Tex and Ian sat down beside each other.
"Let's just be glad that rule to the nether isn't corrupt anymore, and Ian, if I ever do start to become like him-" Tex started but was cut off.
"Which you won't," Ian stated smiling at her, making her smile in return.
"I know, but in the off chance it does, slap me and send me to dungeons, and I give you permission to take the nether from me. I know you'll keep it safe."
Once the group had caught their breathe, Jason, Jerome, Mitch and Ty left the nether. Jason hovered outside the portal as he turned to face the trio waving them off.
"Sure you don't wanna come back Ian?" Jason asked. Ian looked over to Tex, smiling.
"Yeah, I got some priorities here. I'll visit though," Ian replied turning back to his friend.
"We will too," Jason smiled and gave a final wave before jumping into the portal.
"So that's it?" Seto asked, looking between the two.
"I guess so," Tex replied, smiling as the taller man next to her held her hand, "now lets get my home back into order."
