Okay, so I'm going to be blunt. Who ships Hiccstrid? I ship it, for a number of reasons.
#1 Hiccup and Astrid complement each other. Hiccup is the ice, as Astrid is the fire, as illustrated in Race to the Edge. Ice calms fire.
#2 Hiccup and Astrid rely on each other. As Hiccup so romantically stated, he relies on Astrid a great deal. And, as much as Astrid hates it, she relies on him as well.
#3 Hiccup and Astrid have had so many unforgettable moments together. "I can't imagine a world without you in it." And, "I rely on you, Astrid." To name a couple.
#4 Hiccup and Astrid are a stinking adorable couple. It was so obvious, they got a ship name within the show. Us shippers don't have to search very far to find it either.
One thing to say: Ship it like Fed-Ex.
