Light had finally gotten the concept of starting from the back and working your way forward with his painting within an hour, "So, do you remember what i said at lunch" he started as he placed down his paintbrush, "Why of course, i haven't forgotten anything since i was seven" i said smiling at myself, "Well here" he said and handed me his Death note, "Nice book but i don't need it" i said, Ryu laughing, "She's right there" he said in between laughs. "Wait, how long, what" he asked surprised, "What since i was born, right Ryu" i asked playfully, "yep" he said popping the p.
"What, but how?" Light asked, "Well you see, um, Ryu i'll let you take this one" i said looking over to my first friend, "What, why me" He pouted, "Because i've been giving you apples for the last few months" i said smiling, "Fine, Hime" he said chuckling at lights face when he realized what he called me, "Wait, what do you mean Hime?" he asked, "Wow, you seam to be asking alot of questions for someone for you talents" I said smuggle, "But he's a Shimigami, and he called you a princess when your human" he said, "Half" was all i said, "Yeah, and your father is still unhappy that you didn't let that man kill that kid" Ryu said, "Well we made a deal and he broke it" i said before continuing, "He killed her, HE KILLED MY MOTHER" i yelled.
"Wait, who is your father?" He asked, "The shimigami king" i muttered, "Who?" he asked again not hearing me, "I said the shimigami king" i said loudly. "I got to go and meet up with my cousins now" i said, "Wait, But you told me your father was hear" Light said, "Yeah, i also told you i was an orphan, he's my adopted dad" i said as i left his room, not even acnologing sister and his mum.
soon i arrived at the hotel and removed my wig and changed into something else before walking into L's room to see what is going on, "So what did i miss?" I asked, no emotion in my voice, "Nothing much, where just going to put camera's into the Directors and Yagami houses" L said, "Ok, do you need any help with it" i said not really caring, still upset about what happened earlier, "Sure, you can take the Yagami house while Watari will take the Directors" He said, "Cool, when are we putting them in?" I asked, "Tomorrow while everyone is at work/school" He said, "Alright, i'll just have to make a call tomorrow then" i said as Watari came out of the kitchen with my pie.
"Thank you" i said cheering up on the first bit, "I knew that would make you feel better" he said before walking of, "Wait, what happened?" Matsuda asked, "Nothing much, just a trip down memory lane" i said only for L to look over, and in his eyes i saw something that i never saw before, worry and sadness, but i must be imagining it, i thought as i sat down next to him. everyone left half an hour later leaving L and myself alone. "So what happened?" He asked, "It's like i said, a trip down memory lane" i replied, "Yes but why?" he asked, "Why do you want to know. last time i checked you don't like to meddle into other people's stuff, so why now?" i countered, "Your a friend, my first friend, so i want to make sure your happy" He said, "Well maybe another time i'll tell you" i said finishing this fight.
"Dame, i lost this one" i heard him mutter. "It's ok, you will most likely win the next" i said smiling at my victory, "I highly doubt it, you win about two in a row" he countered, "Really, now who is counting" i said, "You started it" He said, "Actually you did when you said i won" i said winning again, "See i told you you would most likely win again" he said, "I know but lets get back to work" i said with a closed eye smile "R, your face is red, are you sick?" L asked, i opened my eyes to see him right in front of me about to put his hand on my for head, "It's alright, i'm not sick" i said trying not to blush any more, "Then why is your face red if your not sick?" he asked, "That, i will not tell you" i said moving back abit.
"Why did you move?" he asked, "Well your in my space" i replied, "But i've been in it before and you never cared" he said, "Well, i've had a bad day with Light asking me questions, Remembering things that i don't want to, and know your asking me Questions" i said only for Watari to walk in. "Did i miss something?" Watari asked, "Yes R is sick" L said, " I said i'm not sick" i said "Then why was your face red?" He asked again, "Not this again L, leave it alone" i said before walking of to my room next door.
L's P.O.V
"What did i do?" i said, nibbling on my thumb, "If i may, i would let her have some time to cool of" Watari said, "But she is sick" i said, "No, she is not sick at all" he said smiling, "why are you smiling?" i asked confused as to what is going on, "Well that's because i know what's going on" he said, "Wait, what is going on?" i asked, "don't you remember what you said to me when you asked if she cound join you in solving cases?" He asked, "Yes i said that i wanted to have her by my side and help me because i didn't want to leave her" i said still not getting at what is going on, "Well, maybe you should think, why did she come with you" he said before walking of, why he came, hm i thought to myself all night, forgetting about the case.
