it's the day of the opening ceremony and Light and i where walking to our seats at the front because we had to give a welcoming speak for we got 100% as well as one other person, who i know was L."So did you hear, someone else got 100% aswell" Light said, "Yeah, i hope we can be friend" i nodded, "Me too, it's not everyday you find someone as smart as ourselfs" He said, "I know, i can't wait to see who it is" i said as the ceremony started.
"Now it's time for our freshmen representatives, Yagami Light, Kage Yuki and Hediki Ryuuga" a man up front said, as soon as everyone heard the name Hediki Ryuuga everyone started to talk about the pop idol being here in Japan only to be disapointed when L got up. Light looked over to see L and gave him a confused look out of the corner of his eye, probably remembering him from the exam.
we gave our speeches and sat back down, but why did he use the alias Hediki Ryuuga, i thought that he would use something a little bit more commen like myself. "Yagami" L wispered, "Yagami Light? Your father is cheif Yagami Soichiro of the NPA. Your respecr for your father's matched only by your strong sence of justtice" He said, Oh great he's going to tell him he's L, lets just hope he want say anything about me, i thought.
"Your planning to join the police agency when you graduate, and you've already got experience, seeing as you've helped the police solve a number of cases in the past. Now you're showing an interest in the Kira case. I'm impresed by your abilities and your sense of justice" he said. "And you" he contiuned as he pointed at me, "Your name is Kage Yuki. you have a remarkable ability to think your way thru any problem and all of your tutors only lasted a month before they left because you knew more then they did" He said.
Now i'm confuised, why is he dragging me into this, is it because i'm hanging out with Light or is it something else, i thought to myself. "If you promise not to tell anyone about this, i have important information that i would like to share with your guys" L said, "Shore, i'm good at keeping secrets and there is anything that i can go to help Light's dad in the case i'll be happy to help" i said confidently while Light paused to think. "Well if Yuki's in then i'm in too, i promise i wont tell anyone, so what is it?" He asked. "I want to tell you, I'm L" he said witch shocked Light while i pretended to be as for i already knew.
i can't belive i was right, but at least he didn't tell Light that i'm R, the worlds best hacker, assasian and thife, yeah i get all the fun jobs while L says inside, how else did you think i got into the school a day later, even Watari knows the basics on hacking, for he added L into the Exam's.
"If you are who you say you are, them i respect you as well as R, who ever they are" Light said as we left to go home, "Yes me too, i wish to be importent as you someday but because i keep moving i never really wont ever get too. the longest i've ever stayed in one place was a year and a half" i said sadly, "But your staying this time, right?" Light asked, "No, i will probably will be leaving in a few months" I said as i made a tear fall down my face. "No, you've got to stay here" He said, "I'm sorry Light, but i don't think i can. the real reson i picked this school was because i wanted to try and convince my step-father to let me stay behind, but i don't think it will really work because it didn't ever before" i said as i made more tears fall down my face.
"Shh, it's going to be alright" Light said as he brushed away my tears, "But it wont" i said shakingly as i feel to the floor in his arms right at the gates. "It will be alright, i promise. I'll even ring every week to talk to you" He continued as he sat down and pulled me into his lap as L watched,"So what where you going to say before i had my little brakedown?" i asked Ryuuga. "Yes the reason i told you my identity is becasue i think you can be of some help, while your here" He said, the last part to me.
soon L hoped into the limo as i stood up, "I'm really sorry about crying, i haven't done that in years" i amited sheepishly, "It's true, last time i saw you cry was the day your mum died all those years ago" Ryu said seriusly, "Wait where you just Seriuse just then Ryu?" He asked, "I have no idea what your talking about" Ryu said chuckling. "Well if only i had the chance to see his name to see if he was telling the truth" i said sadly, "That's right, i forgot you could do that" He said, "Yeah, the only problem would be that my eyes whould be red" I said.
"Well i got to go, i'll see you later then" I said as i waved and left only to go around the corner and see the Limo waiting there again. "You know i could just walk right" I said as i hoped in,"I know" was all he said. "So, what do you think, i'm thinking about 5% at the moment, you?" I asked when it was actually 100% because i know the truth, "It's 5% too, i just don't get how he does it" L said, "Me neather but i belive it's him" i said, "Yes well know i have more information to go on" He said as we arrived and walked into our seperate room.
