it's been over a week now since the camera's where put in, Light told me about them so i don't blow his cover, and proved me wrong about his ability to paint.

"Hay Yuki, when you came over don't talk to Ryu, there's camera's all over the house" Light said, "Ok, but i just hope he want try and make me laugh like he did at school" i said glaring at him, "I wont, i don't want to die" He said laughing, "Who said anything about dying, i was thinking of prizon" i said grining, "Anything but that, please" He said scard, "Prizon?" light asked, "Trust me, it's about 10x worst then any of yours" i said smiling, thinking of when i went there with my dad, one of the only good memerys i have of him.

"So what are you doing on saturday?" Light asked, "Probably helping my foster father at work" i said, "That's right, i nearly forgot about him" He said, Ryu laughing in the background, "And what's so funny?" I asked, "Your foster father's job makes life very interesting for you" he said still laughing. "That's right, you never told me what he did for a living" Light said, "Of well he's a detective" i said sheepishly thinking of Watari.
"So he's after Kira then" he said, "Yep, but i wont left him get you, for i don't want him finding out about the book. the only problem is L&R" i said. "Yeah, they would be a problem, but i've already thought three steps ahead" he said, "Really, well lets hope they haven't done the same" i said grinning to myself. "Well as long as your not R i will be safe" he said, laughing at his joke, Ryu and i laughted too, for he didn't know how right he was, "Yes, well it's a good thing i'm not" i said as we entered his house.
"So, we're studying today for the exams right" i said, "Yeah, but i know you'll make it" he said, "Don't you mean well make it" i said smiling at him. "So tell me, do you have a notebook of your own?" he asked, "No, i don't need one" i replied knowing he was talking about the Death Note. "Why don't you need one?" He asked, "It's useless to me" i said sitting on his bed next to Ryu. "Yeah, even if she uses mine, it won't work" Ryu said laughing, "Really, wow" he said. soon we finished studying and had dinner with Saya and Mrs Yagami.
"Thank you for thr food but i have to go home and get some sleep, see you in two weeks for the exam" i said waving as i walked out. i arrived back at the new hotel and snuck past everyone and entered my room to get changed. as i entered the lounge room i saw Cheif asleep and L watching the TV's still. "So how was school?" L asked, "They same as every other day. nothing new, he seams like a nice kid at school, but then again, i think it's all an act" i said as i entered the kitchen.
today i felt like cooking, i was going to make some Cinnamon rolls and a strewberry shortcake for L. i started with the cake, knowing that L had non left. i graved; 2 eggs, 1/3C suger, 1/3C soft flour, 1T butter for the cake and 250g strawberry, 3/4 whipped cream and 1Ts suger for the icing.(Real Recipe)
Cake
1.i started of by pre-heating the oven to 160C and microwaving the butter for 1-2min.
2. next i cracked the eggs and added the suger untill it melts.
3. next i put warm water(30c) in a big bowl and put the smaller bowl from step 2 in the warm water and mixed the egg and suger together.
4. sift in the flour and stir, before adding in the melted butter.
5. pour the batter into a pre-lined cake tin and put it in the oven.
6. to tell when the cake is ready, poke a toothpick into the cake and if it comes out clean, put it on a cooling rack to cool.
7. Put the suger in the wipped cream, put the bowl into another bigger bowl, this time with ice water and using a mixer to wip it.
8. Wash the strewberrys and cut them into slices, cut the cake in half and layer some cream across it, followed by the strewberrys.
9. put the other half onto and useing the rest of the wipped cream spread it all over the top and sides of the cake and decorate the top as you see fit.
as i finished the cake and cut a slice i heard L call me, "Do i smell freashly baked cake?" "Why yes, would you like some" i teased, "Yes please" he said poking his head into the kitchen, "I don't know, i think maybe i should share this with everyone else first and if there is some left then maybe you could have some" i said smirking as he pouted. "Please" He begged, "Alright, i'll just make something else for everyone" i said as i handed him the plate, "Thank you" he said smiling like a five year old.
i soon started making the cinnamon rolls for the others. i graved out the ingreadiace i needed; 1 1/2C flour, 2Ts Suger, 1 1/2Ts dry yeast, some salt, 1/2C milk, 1 egg yolk, some cinnamon and some extra suger.
1pre-heat the oven too 180c.
2. sift the flour, suger, dry yeast and salt into a bowl and mix.
3. microwave the milk for 20 sec. add the egg yolk and the dry ingrediance from step 1 and mix.
4. once it comes together, knead for 10 min.
5. into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap and leave in a wrak place(#0c) for 40-50 min to allow it to rise
6. roll out untill its about 8"x12" and sprinkle with the extra sugar and cinnamon.
7. roll it up and press the edges to seal it. cut it into slices about 1 inch wide
8. place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and cover with plactic wrap for another 10-20min
9 remove the plactice wrap and bake in the oven for 15 min
soon i came out with 5 plates, each with two rolls on them. i gave a plate to the chief as he woke up and then went next door and handed Mogi, Aziza and Matsuda a plate each. "Thank you,, did you make these?" Matsuda asked, "Yes, as well as a strawberry shortcake for Ryuuzaki" i said as i left the room to clean up the kitchen only to find L already in there washing the dishes.
"What are you doing in here, someone has to watch the tapes" i said, "I can always rewind it later tonight" he said, "Well i made the mess so i will clean it up" i said, "Yes but you make me a cake and this is my way as saying thanks" he replied, "Fine but i'm still going to help by drying and putting thinks away" i said before doing just that
