Third Person POV

Sonic has been visiting Shadow for 2 weeks now, his parents are getting worried because their son kept going in the surface, which is not a healthy way for merhogs. The next day Sonic was about to go, but his parents stop him, "Son, where do you think your going now!?" His mother Aleena asked. "Mom, I'm going to the surface! I know you know that!" Sonic answered. His parents shook their head, "Son, this isn't healthy! You have to stay here." "No mom! Dad! Please!" Sonic looked at his dad with puppy eyes, his dad sigh. "Son, those eyes wouldn't work for me anymore. Go to you room now!" "MOM! DAD! PLEASE!" "NO! YOUR GROUDED FOR A MONTH!" Sonic eyes widen and swim to his room. Once he got there, he lay down to his shell looking bed and cried.

~1 week later~

Shadow has been wondering where Sonic is and got worried, "M-maybe, he doesn't want to be friends anymore.. D-did I do something wrong?" He looked around the beach and sigh. Later on he spotted a merhog tail, he smiled and run to where the tail is. "Sonic!" The merhog turned around, confused. Shadow stopped infront of the merhog, he sigh. "S-sorry I thought you were my friend.." The merhog smiled, she has a blond hair and blue eyes, "I can be your friend! My name is Maria Robotnik The Merhog!" Shadow smiled. "Shadow prince of the Black Rose." Maria gasped and bow her head a little. "Please don't bow your head. " Maria looked at Shadow, "I heard a lot from you Prince Shadow." Shadow got confused, "Please call me Shadow and where do you heard me from?" "From Prince Sonic! Me and him are also close friends! " "D-do you know where he is?" Maria nodded and frown later on. "He is grounded because he kept visiting you, it's not healthy for merhogs to be in the surface for too long, his parents were worried. " Shadow was speechless. "Shadow?" Shadow was back to his thoughts, "Can you send this message to Sonic?" Maria nodded. Shadow grab his paper and pen from his little bag and wrote something. When he was finish, he gave it to Maria. "Thank you Maria." Maria nodded and smiled, "It's my please to serve a prince." Shadow and Maria giggled. "I must go now. I will send this letter to Sonic. See yah later Shadow!" Shadow nodded and Maria swim back to the ocean. "Thank you Maria!" Shadow waved.
