Grier and Tyler arrived at the set just on time for them to both be whipped away into hair and makeup. They hadn't been given their scripts for the scene they were filming today - something unusual and also the topic of conversation as they got their hair fixed up.
Grier leaving the show due to her inability to work with Tyler after their fallout had been widely known amongst Teen Wolf crew, so there were many glances shared between the hairdressers as the scars conversed just like it was old times.
"All I know is Jeff said it was a variation of a scene we've shot before," Tyler explained to the girl, both of them still confused about why they had a full day of filming and none of the rest of the cast had.
"Flashbacks," Grier stated snapping her fingers as she decided she had figured it out.
Tyler scoffed, shaking his head before stopping at the look he was getting from his hairdresser. "Surely not, couldn't they just reuse old scenes?"
Grier shrugged, tilting her head slightly only for it to be moved back to being straight as the rest of her hair was continued being sorted into place.
"Maybe not? I dunno," she replied, thanking her hairdresser as she got the all clear to go.
Tyler jumped up from his chair, overly enthusiastic as always while cheering a goodbye to the makeup and hair crew. He opened the door for Grier, motioning for her to go first as she giggled and walked down the stairs and back on to the cemented ground.
As they began the walk back to set, they were passed by one of the interns who handed over a s'mores frappe to Grier and a simple cola to Tyler. He laughed at her choice of beverage but she ignored him, knowing the sugar would be the only thing getting her through the day.
"So how's Kieran and your parents?" He asked, breaking the silence of them walking through the rows of trailers and cars.
Grier smiled at him, knowing he was trying to be a better person that was more interested in her life. The old Tyler never really cared about things in her life.
"Kieran's good, he's moving out here to LA to live with his new girlfriend. Pretty quick, and I've still not met the girl yet, also not even sure on her full name which is suspicious!" Grier explained, causing Tyler to laugh. "Think her name is like Dana or something but not really sure," she summarised, rolling her eyes. "Parents are good though, still living in Edinburgh but they send the occasional email. You know how they feel about phones and Skype."
Tyler laughed, remembering all too well that email was the only way that Grier and Kieran were about to keep in touch with their parents. It had been the bane of many jokes when Grier had previously worked on the set.
"I'm glad to hear it," Tyler replied easily, he was happy for her.
"How's the girlfriend?" Grier asked, her heart twinging a little as she asked him. She would always have feelings for him, but she knew they were never returned.
Tyler seemed taken a back for a second before he realised who she was referring to. "Ashley? As in Halsey?"
Grier modded, a confused look on his face as he burst into laughter.
"Oh no, no no no. Never, she's just like a sister to me!" He explained, causing Grier to laugh at her misunderstanding.
They laughed it off together, before arriving at set and entering the large sound stage that housed all the sets for the homes in Beacon Hills.
That's where they found Jeff, his grin breaking into an even wider one as he noticed the two were chatting to each other without any awkwardness. Since the majority of the scenes they had filmed since Grier's return had been before her reunion with Tyler's character, they hadn't actually had to have any set time together. However, this was why it was all changing today - and he wanted to refresh some of the scenes they would use for the flashbacks during the character's onscreen reunion.
He knew it wasn't going to be fun for Grier or Tyler, but he (and Holland, who had helped to persuade him to do this) was very optimistic to getting the two stars back to their former friendship. He had also seen how they had both grown after not working together for a season and truly thought they would now work as an untoxic couple unlike before.
"So what's the plan?" Tyler asked as he and Grier arrived from having gotten changed into their outfits.
Grier didn't need to ask what Jeff's plan was because she already had figured it out. The girl had realised the second the costume designed had put the outfit on her and she had seen it in the mirror. She had been right about the flashbacks, but she did not expect this.
There was only one time her character had worn the outfit she was currently wearing - her and Tyler's first on-screen kiss.
Grier replied to Tyler for Jeff. "Tyler, remember how I mentioned flashbacks?" The man nodded as she continued. "Remember Levi and Scott's first kiss?"
There was a pause as the crew around them all went silent as they understood what was happening. Tyler paused, his mouth hanging open slightly as he turned to look at Jeff who was grinning at the pair.
"Just need some extra shots to make the reunion look better," he tricked them, a knowing glint in his eye.
Grier and Tyler awkwardly agreed, getting touch ups done as they walked with Jeff to where the cameras were set up around what they used as Scott's bedroom.
They both still remembered the exact scene movements and blocking - it was something neither of them had really been able to forget no matter how they tried.
"AND ACTION!" Jeff's voice shouted, shooting Tyler and Grier into their characters.

Tyler stared at her again for a moment, the way the soft light casting across her skin from his lamp illuminated her was nothing short of angelic. Her soft brown hair was falling in loose curls down her back as her eyes brightly searched his desk for other scraps of his life.
He moved closer to her, until his chest was pressed against her back, his breath faintly reaching her neck. Grier paused, her eyes closing slightly as she felt him touch her. This was so familiar to her that she almost slipped out of character. She tightened her grasp on the photo frame in her hands as she opened her eyes again, both the stars feeling the jump in her heart beat and the increase in Tyler's too.
"Levi," he breathed, before the girl broke. She dropped the frame back on to Scott's desk, spinning around so they were now chest to chest. Grier wasn't really sure that she was still in character at all.
It was deadly silent, the only thing that could be heard was the soft patter of the rain on Scott's window panel and their deep breaths. Tyler's eyes flickered to Grier's lips as he tilted his head down. The girl wasted no time in meeting his lips, connecting them roughly but full of complete passion.
Tyler pressed against her lips, pushing her backwards forcefully as he lifted her so she was sitting on his desk. Her legs found their way to wrap themselves around his waist, their lips still attached to each other like it was a vital life support. It was more rough and passionate that they had first acted the scene, but it was more raw and believable. Grier has forgotten how good it felt to kiss the man. One hand rested at the base of Tyler's neck, while her other was weaving itself into his hair as she moaned into the kiss. His hands slid down from her back to her waist, pulling her in even tighter to him. She wrapped her body around his, and the stars had already known that they fitted perfectly, but this was something that they now longed for.
"CUT! THATS A WRAP!" Jeff yelled, must he and the rest of the crew let out a few chuckles as they noticed the stars were still pressing their lips together.
"POSEY! BRETT!" He yelled, causing the two to spring away from each other due to the surprise they had from him shouting out their names.
"Scenes over guys," Jeff laughed, waving them off.
Grier blushed as she looked back at Tyler, the two eventually laughing at the situation they had just found themselves in.
