The Grand Masquerade

Chapter 1

"Hi, my name is Joshua Gough and I will be playing the journalist."
"Hey, my name is Hailey Tonkin and I'll be playing the renegade."
"Hello, my name is Esha Biju and I am going to be playing the fashionista."
"Hey, my name is Chelsey Tonkin and I am a mystic."
"Hi, my name is Julie Jonescu and I am a savant."
"I'm Elizabeth Pace and I am playing a vaudevillian."
"Hello, my name is Krystal Hardisty and I am going to be playing an explorer."
"Hi, my name is Haylee Toner and I am going to be a veteran."
"My name is Jordan Klemm, and I am going to be a saloon."
"Yo, my name is Summer Perna, and I am going to be a thespian."
"Hi, my name is Cameron and I am a tycoon."
"Hello, my name is Katelyn  Warner and I am playing the fixer."

The lights go out when everyone is inside, they see a flash and end up in a classroom with a teacher at the front who says "Everybody pick a card and give it to me." Everybody picks. The teacher shuffles the cards and pulls two. The journalist and the mystic. The lights go out again, everybody hears screams, they turn back on Josh and Chels are gone.

"Welcome to the wizard's lair, here you will fight for your lives finding and figuring out clues first to finish lives, your first clue is on a note with a star. Three, two, one, go!" says the elder. Josh and Chelsey run to read the note. The note states 'There is a wand somewhere on top of the box behind you, with the wand is a spell to open the box. On the lid of the box is your next clue." Both run to the box and feel around, the wand is fairly easy to find; blended in with the artwork. The spell was 'aloha mora' which opened the box, on the lid was the note that stated 'There is a note in the box that states three digits for a combination.' Josh is ahead one step. In the box is a vicious small dog that couldn't jump, Josh could evidently see there isn't a note on the bottom, so he felt the roof of the box, where he finds the note. Chels had just gotten the box open and all you hear are the words "Holy freaking shit."
Josh's note states three digits for a combination 527 along with the words 'Go to the desk.' Josh runs over to the desk and reads the note on top 'You may have the numbers, but you don't have the correct order to unlock this book that will give you the spell to open the drawer.' Chelsey runs over to her desk. Josh is thinking 'Fuck she's catching up.' It takes Josh maybe five tries to get the book open and Chelsey is just losing it. Josh points his wand and says the spell 'Bustitopano' it busts open the desk with a clue and about fifteen wands.

Meanwhile the teacher in the classroom with everyone else is explaining why they're here and how they can get out.

The note that Josh finds says 'One of the wands in this drawer is the elder's wand, you need to figure out which one and give it to the elder.' Chelsey has gotten the book open but is having trouble pronouncing the spell correctly. Josh notices a quarter moon on one of the wands that matches all of the quarter moons on the elder's cloak. So he chose that one and gave it to the elder, he was correct. The elder took the wand and gave a red feather in return, and then pointed it and Chelsey who was repeatedly screaming "Please don't!!!" and he says "Avracadavra" right then Josh starts crying and running towards her dead body but is pulled away and picked up by two muscular hot guys.

Josh returns to the classroom and says quietly "She's gone."
Krystal says "What do you mean?!"
Hailey says "Oh god, okay what next?"
The teacher looks up quickly and says with a demonic voice "The Walking Dead."
