The Grand Masquerade

Chapter 8

The pirate storms through the room as everyone is freaking out and grabs Esha and Krystal by the elbow. The lights are flashing, the explorer and the fashionista are being pulled and no one even knows where to or why.

They're being pulled uncomfortably down the hallway until they go to an exit and are put in a van and chained up to the seats. Neither of them had any idea where they were going until they got to what seemed like an ocean with a large pirate ship. As they're being pulled across the sand Krystal asks the pirate "Are you gay?"
The pirate responds "Back off you nincompoop."
Krystal says "Okay gay boy."
The pirate kicks her hard enough the she makes a slight whimper. They are brought onto a ship and the feminine pirate unties them and starts explaining "Welcome to our ship that we named Crosstrans, we saved it from the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. We almost got caught up in a hurricane on the way back, thank the gods we didn't. Anyways this is going to be sort of like a race. Your first step will be to race to the top and lower the sail and then you'll swing from the rope to the wheel and turn it three times to the left and twice to the right, next you will run to the control panel of the ship and turn everything on which will cause a malfunction and a gas will be leaked in the basement killing one, or even both of you if you aren't fast enough. You begin when the ship's horn goes off." *bwaaahp*

They both race to the top swinging on ropes and climbing ladders, and once they get to the top the sail is tied in a very tight knot. It didn't take long for either Krystal or Esha to untie the knots because they had practice from all the knots Josh had done to their shoes in the surprisingly recent past. Once they finished untying the knots they let the sail down and swung on a rope to the two wheels Krystal remembered the gay pirate saying "Three times to the left and twice to the right" so she did as said and it unlocked a box with a key in it that let her into the messiest control panel she's ever seen. Esha was struggling with her wheel, she did it wrong the first time so she needed to reset it and that was a whole other level of complicated. Krystal felt bad so she helped Esha. They run to their control panels and they tried turning on all of the switches at the exact same time, but that isn't cool with the pirate crew.
The gay pirate practically screams "Attack the fashionable one." The whole crew bolts at her with their swords and then pushes her into the ocean with the bloodthirsty sharks. Krystal is being pulled away back into the van while she violently screams and cries. Before she got in the van she was given the last two indigo and purple gems.

Once she has been brought back to the classroom she puts the last two gems into the mirror and a blinding bright light started shining in it.
