Chapter Five

She leaned up a bit and I closed my eyes as I felt the the warmth on my lips. We werent kissing yet but we were close

BAM

I heard a noise errupt from downstairs and noticed it was the door. Me and Kayla both jumped back startled and I excused myself. My mind was raising as I walked out of the bathroom, I mean I had only just met the girl, with no doubt shes a cutie but am I really going to kiss someone I hardly know?

I already knew who was downstairs seeing as Joslyn was the only other person with a key to my house. 

I went to my room and grabbed a pair of shorts and a sweat shirt and dropped it off with Kayla while I went downstairs and seen Kayla in my kitchen getting a bowl of cereal. 

¨Sup bitch, wheres my keys¨ she said with a mouthful of cereal I cringed and hushed her slightly and she looked at me confused. 

A couple seconds later I heard Kayla coming down the stairs and she walked into the kitchen and Joslyn instantly smirked at me and I shook my head with wide eyes. 

¨Good Morning¨ She chirped to Kayla. 

Kayla smiled back friendly and it was obvious her hangover was bothering her and I handed her another bottle of water whilst telling her to go sit in the living room and to feel free to turn on whatever she pleased. 

She thanked me quietly and walked to the living room. 

Joslyn looked at me smirking and wiggled her eyebrows.

 I shook my head and whispered to her that I only brought her here to make things simple and she just continued smirking and rolling her eyes at my statements. 

I groaned at her and walked into the living room to see Kayla sitting on the couch. I grabbed my jacket off the chair by the door and grabbed out Joslyns keys before walking back into the kitchen and handing them to her. 

She had already put her bowl in the sink and thanked me before walking into the living room causing me to follow her. 

¨It was nice seeing you Kayla however I have to go¨ She said kindly and she smirked at me again causing me to blush as I inwardly groaned. 

After small talk she finally left and I sat down on the couch opposite side of Kayla. 

¨So..I hate to ask this..¨ She mumbled shyly. 

I looked at her and giggled aloud. I couldnt help it and she looked at me upset but blushing. I made myself serious again and smiled rolling my eyes

¨No, I promise you we didnt do anything. After I walked in on those people and you I picked you up and walked out of the house considering I didnt want you to be left there around them and I brought you here so you wouldnt have to deal with parents and so you could be safe and sleep¨ I said and she thanked me once again.

 I just shrugged it off. 

¨You dont mind if I stay here until about 1 do you? Ill get murdered if I go home hungover, I was supposed to be staying at a friends tonight¨ 

She said sighing as she took a sip of water ¨Which technically I did stay at a friends, but still¨

 I smiled.  

Kayla considers me a friend. 

¨I dont mind¨ I added and smiled. 

I looked up at the TV screen to notice she was watching the Twilight Zone still and I smiled watching along.

¨So tell me a little bit about yourself, after last night im forcing you into my friendship¨ She said with a slight laugh at the end and I smiled. 

We talked from about 10 am to 11:30 just about the most random things in life. From our names to our families to even bands and hobbies. 

Once we were done getting to know each other it was about 12:15 so we decided on making lunch seeing as she was hungry as was I. 

I walked into my kitchen with her following close behind and she jumped up on the counter as I opened the fridge door. 

I groaned as I realized I needed to go shopping. 

¨Wanna order a pizza?¨ I asked her and she nodded her head excitedly. 

I laughed and grabbed my phone ordering it while she walked into the living room. 

She grabbed the PS4 controller and went to spotify and started playing ¨Go Go Go" by Sleeping With Sirens.

 I smiled and hummed along as she slid around on the tile floor with her socks and I laughed when she almost fell. 

I was currently sitting on the couch watching her dance around when I heard the doorbell ring. 

I stood up and walked over and paid the guy who delivered it. He thanked me for the tip and left as I closed the door and sat the pizza down on the living room coffee table. 

¨What do you wanna watch?¨ I asked Kayla as she ate a piece of pizza.

 We both ended up deciding on some trashy creepy movie and We sat next to each other and ate as we watched.

 About half way through our movie was when I felt Kaylas head lay on my shoulder. 

I looked down confused to see she had passed out. 

I noticed she had a bit of pizza sauce on the side of her lip. 

I cleaned it off with my thumb and blushed as my thumb had hit her soft delicate lips. 

She was so pretty...

I slowly stood up and let her sink into the couch and I turned the volume on the TV down as I began to clean things up around the house. 

A/N: Dang it Josy! Bad timing :P Lol by the way Joslyn in pronounced  Jaws- lynn or Jaw- cee XD but I hope everyone's enjoying so far. :)
