Chapter Six

I finally finished cleaning and all that and checked my phone to see it was 3:30 and decided to wake Kayla up. I skipped down the stairs and made my way to the couch'.

I nudged her lightly causing her to stir a bit as she slowly opened up her eyes. 

¨Hey its 3:30 ¨ I said as she sat up stretching. 

¨Oh..¨ She trailed off and yawned. 

She stood up stumbling a bit. 

¨Ima go put that dress back on so you can have your clothes back..¨ She stated tiredly. 

¨No its fine you can keep them or give them back Monday or something¨ I said kindly and she smiled thanking me.

 I nodded as she went upstairs to grab her dress.

 Once she came back down I stood up and slipped on my converse and we headed out the door. 

I unlocked my car and she furrowed her eye brows in confusion. 

¨I can walk so its no trouble to you¨ She said kindly. 

¨Uh nah im gonna head over to Josy's place anyways¨ I stated and she smiled get into the car. 

¨Thanks again for you know..¨ she trailed off and I nodded. 

¨Its seriously no problem¨ I stated, and I meant it too. 

We drove in silence only talking for when she was giving me instructions on where to go. I pulled up in the drive way and checked out her house. 

It was a two story house that was paint a light shade of blue and the yard was neatly trimmed. 

The front door opened and a woman around her early 30's came out and smiled as she seen Kayla. 

Kayla groaned aloud causing me to smile. 

¨Thank you for everything, we can hang out again sometime right?¨ she asked. 

I could hear the nervousness in her voice, almost as if she was scared I'd say no. 

I nodded and handed her my phone.

 She added her phone number in and leaned over and hugged me whilst whispering a light ¨Thank you¨ into my ear and I smiled as she pulled back. 

¨Bye¨ she stated, her voice at a small tone almost making her sound upset. 

I smiled and said goodbye as she stepped out of the car. 

She closed the door and walked up the steps and she was greeted by the woman's arms as she smiled and began talking to her.

 I back out of the drive way and waved as I drove off into the direction of Joslyns house. 

~After the drive over~ 

I pulled into her drive way and parked my car and stepped out. 

I adjusted my hair and walked up to the door and opened it and closed it allowing myself in. 

I heard the sound of water and singing from upstairs and I realized she was in the shower.

 I rolled my eyes. 

That girls insane leaving the door unlocked while she showers. 

I shook my head at her mentally and walked to the kitchen to were I grabbed a monster out of the fridge and the Doritos and I sat on her couch watching family guy.

 About 2 episodes later I heard the bathroom door open and the light flip off and then I heard steps coming down the stairs. 

She was wearing shorts and a tank top and her hair was up in a messy bun and when she seen me she yelped but then held her heart panting. 

¨JESUS CHRIST TAYLOR DONT YOU KNOW HOW TO TELL PEOPLE YOURE HERE????¨ She shouted at me still clutching her heart. 

I was currently laughing my ass off on the couch. 

Taylor also lived alone but not for the same reasoning as me. 

Her reason was that her mom had left when she was 3, leaving her with an abusive dad. 

One day I walked in their house and Josy was laying on the bathroom floor with a broken rib cage and blood everywhere I freaked out and called 911 and that ended up getting him arrested. 

However Josy, being 16, was also allowed to stay at the house due to some legal battles and such. 

But anyways, 

She came over and sat down beside me taking a chip and a drink of my monster, which led to her drinking the rest. I groaned at her and she smiled. 

I stood up to go grab us both one and when I came back she had grabbed a blanket.

 I sat back down and handed it to her and we sat back for the rest of the day watching Family guy, Catfish, and many other cheesy TV shows.

 Me and her often spent our Sundays like this. 

It was nice honestly. 

At about 9 she turned off the TV and turned to me. 

¨So spill.¨ She stated I knew she was talking about last night and earlier on today but I just shrugged trying to hide my blush. 

¨What do you mean nothing happened??¨ I said trying to sound smooth but came out more like a weak question and I groaned mentally. 

¨Pft yeah right, tell meeee¨ she whined. 

¨Ugh fineeee¨ I replied.

 I began replaying the whole night to her and earlier today whilst she gasped and laughed and nodded and smiled and watched my face as I told her. 

Once I was done she hugged me tightly. 

¨Uhhh what are you doing??¨ I asked confused.

¨MY BEST FRIENDS FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE SHE LOVES¨ She yelled as she stood up jumping on the couch. 

¨Calm it tiger, I think someones had to much monster¨ I said the last part to myself and chuckled lightly. 

¨Besides I dont love her..I barely even know her" I muttered out but my face erupted in blush. 

¨Okay fine but you like her¨ She replied all slowly and lovey. 

¨No I dontttt¨ I replied stubbornly. 

She held onto my shoulders and looked me in the eyes. 

¨Tell me, Taylor, do you or do you not, Like or have a crush on Kayla?¨ she asked seriously but smiled when she said crush. 

I inwardly groaned. 

I looked back into her eyes..

¨I Taylor,¨I stated as I raised my hand ¨have a crush o Kayla.¨ 

Joslyn squealed and hugged me tightly.
