Xiao knew his classmates weren't fond of him, He knew he was nothing but a burden.. He knew the man who was unlucky enough to have to deal with Xiao's clingy cries for attention, his best friend, Allen's reputation greatly suffered.. After all who wanted to be seen with someone like Xiao? He didn't know why he did it.. maybe a cry for help perhaps? Either way Xiao found himself texting Allen about wanting to end his miserable existence. Of course the shocked American almost instantly replied with constant texts and calls. Eventually wiping away a few stray tears from his face.. Xiao finally answered. He didn't know why he answered... Was it just curiosity to see his best friends reaction? Or purpose.. There was still a slight yearning to live. "You can't kill yourself! Are you nuts?! Are you high?! Y..you can't leave me! Why the fuck would you want to die?! Once you die you CAN'T come back! Dude.. You can't, its a cowards way out! I need you please.." so many emotions hit Allen all at once and the poor American couldn't control what was spewing from his mouth. Xiao hesitated and spoke with a heavy heart. "W..why are you crying aru?! I'm worthless! Just some foreign exchange loser who clung to you.. They all hate me! I wouldn't be missed! They.. They wouldn't care if I disappeared"

"They?! THEY?! what about us Xiao?! What about us?! They, THEY AREN'T IMPORTANT! worthless?! how DARE you! How dare you call yourself such a fucking ridiculous word! You're not worthless.. You're so much better then that. You're kind, protective, clingy.. But a good clingy! We have so much fun together! Remember when we practiced kissing and were so embarrassed afterwards? Remember pranking the others with me? Remember when you'd come over play video games, watch stuff, or just chill out with me? Doesn't any of that matter?! It matters to me Xiao! YOU FUCKING MATTER" it was at this point Xiao couldn't contain his sobs. He wept and tried to speak but.. alas! The tears wouldn't stop their endless flow. "I'm.. I'm nothing but a burden! I ruined you're reputation and-"

"Dude, I'm about to walk all the way to you're dorm and beat the shit out of you if you keep spewing that nonsense! Burden? How the hell are you a burden?! I don't give a flying fuck if my reputation is complete shit. You mean more to me then anything in the entire fucking world.. Why do you think I love it when we hang out? You're my best friend! I..I even.. I.. I love you.. And yes, in the gayest way possible"

"You.. You love me? But.." Xiao couldn't believe his ears. Sure they've done some gay stuff before but.. It was usually all in good fun. He had fallen for Allen long ago but... He never could have imagined Allen would feel the same. Now he felt guilty for ever wanting to kill himself.. He knew Allen would never forgive him if he did. Perhaps, All Xiao needed was that comfort of knowing.. Allen still cared? His mind was beginning to debate with itself, and it just felt like a giant cluster fuck he didn't want to deal with. His head began to ache as if being pounded with a mallet.. He hated feeling this way. "Yes, yes, yes, I love you more then anything. I want to kiss you, Hold hands with you, Caress you're cheek, Make sweet love to you until you're mind can grasp the fact you're loved! I want to make you smile, laugh.. I want to make you happy! I want you to open you're door.." a bit shocked at Allen's blunt confession. Xiao nervously made his way too the door and was soon enough face to face with his American friend. Dropping his phone he ran right into Allen's embrace.

The warmth,

The safety,

The love he felt while Allen held and cooed him away. It made him suddenly grateful to the American! If it wasn't for Allen.. Xiao would be long gone by now! The Americans touch was gentle, warm, different then usual.. Allen's red, puffy cheeks rested against the top of Xiao's head. Eventually making their way to Xiao's bed.. They spent that whole night talking and well.. The new couple had big plans for their future.
