Lord,
forgive me for when I doubt
As humans, we tend to forget too
Our Lord's power and what You can do
Such a stupid excuse for us to say
For Your power, You always display
Hesitation, Fear, Distrust...
Why would I think such a thing?
How could I be uncertain of our Mighty King?
Allowing such thoughts to cloud my mind
Allowing the enemy to turn me blind
The Alpha, The Omega
The only shelter in the storm
The Shepherd, The Healer
The One Who'll keep us warm
The Saviour, The Mighty King
The One Who saved us all
Our Father, Our God
We take heed to Your call
With faith, each step was filled
You paved the path
You showed me the way
The road may be rough
Yet You guided me each day
Another challenge, another test
Still You provided me the very best
A promotion, A new life, I got from You
I know I should start with 'Lord, Thank You'
Some may ignore You, some may fall
Yet still You continue to bless us all
None of us deserve Your grace
Nor can anyone take Your place.
The impossible, You have done.
Death, You've overcome.
Without God, I can do nothing
Indeed, I know this is true.
It may be hard to believe in myself
But Lord God, I believe in You.
