You Are Strong

When I am blind
When it seems I've lost my mind
When all hope is lost
When I think death is the only cost
In my distress
In my weakness
Father God, You Are Strong.
When I can't breathe
When I can't move
When my entire body aches
When my faith threatens to shake
I look to You
I worship You
I see only You
In this state of mine
Father God, You Are Strong
Sorrow...Pain...Despair
Pity fills their eyes as they stare
As I walk
As I talk
Lord, hear my soul cry
God, I don't want to die
Not yet.
Not until my purpose on earth is fulfilled.
Not until we're done here.
No, I will not die.
In my depression
Father God, You Are Strong.
I am at peace because
In every situation.
In anything.
In everything.
I declare.
I praise.
I know.
Forevermore.
