Jenny’s POV:

I drove home and I was thinking about Maxie and about what I wanted. Mum, dad had been at work like always. Nothing ever change when mum said she will be home more often. I can’t complain, I got what I wanted when I wanted. I love that. But I do still want family time. Daddy is getting me a brand new sports car just before graduation so I can drive it there. I parked in the driveway and just sat there thinking. I never wag school or just drove home before. I was just scared of Miss Magure finding out. I wouldn’t know what to do without cheerleading. I have done it all my life and I were hoping I would get a scholarship out of it. I hopped out of the car and went inside. I went straight to my bedroom and I flopped on my bed. I decide to grab the copy of my cheerleading contract that I had to sign each year. Ally would get one by post she also had to read it. And then sign it. I got it out and sat on my bed to see. It was a couple of pages with a bunch of small writing. I read half way though and all it said was:

If you have to take classes off for cheerleading practice you will need to catch up on work in your own time. If you’re caught taking drugs, being pregnant (rape DO not include in this). You will be kicked off the team.

I stopped reading.

“Wow, this is really full on, ” I said to myself. I never had read it through myself. I know my mum has. I continue reading the contract.

If you're late and wag to any of the other classes and my cheerleading practice without a permit or a signed note then you will be kicked off the team.

I stopped and realize that this was wagging. Miss Magure is going to get me kicked off. I threw the contact on my bed and went to the car and drove straight back to school. I was thinking of a way to help me get a note. The counsellor, she the best she will defiantly give me a note. I park outside the school instead of the student car park and went straight to the councillor Miss De Bono.  I knocked straight on her door and there was an answer

“Miss Thompson what are you doing here.” She said surprised.

“I was wondering if I could make an appointment.”

“Yeah, sure was time”

“Tomorrow, before recess.”

“Sure. Is that all Miss Thompson”

“OH no um can you give me a note explain why was I late.”

“But you just got here. I can only explain that you knock on my door now.”

“But, but... I was standing outside your door thinking if I should make an appointment.”

“Ok then I will explain that you came to see me.”

Miss De Bono gave me the note and I read through it.

To Miss Magure,

Jenny Thompson is late to your class because she came and saw me. If there any trouble, you know where I am! J

Yours Miss De Bono

 Jackie Debono

I walked across the big quad that has two basketball courts and headed for the gym. As I got closer I could hear the whistle of Miss Magure.

‘I don’t think I would be in her Good books today I thought to myself.’

I walk in and I could see that Miss Magure was making the cheerleading do the human pyramid. Ally was there in her gym clothes. All it was was a dull red top and black short with red strips to match. Ally saw me and waved me over.
