Secret Silence PART 10

Ally’s POV

I waited for Maxie to tell me what happen between her and Jenny.

“OMG really.”

“She made me so.... Good. It made me want to her fight for her! Do anything to have her, I know I can’t thou.”

“And why not fight for her”

“Because I can’t! she said she couldn’t do it, she could be with me, she the one that made that choice not me, she the one to blame if she still wants me she has to fight for me, not me fighting for her.” Maxie took at deep breath and just stared at me

“What did you want to tell me?”

“Oh, I am the head cheerleader now?” I said with a big grin on my face. “That's why Jenny had puffy eyes and a red nose, she lost everything now she probably thinks she won’t get a cheerleading scholarship now.”

“Well, it's not my fault, I was the best one on the team everyone thought so as well.”

“I wasn’t blaming you” Maxie said with a quick glance at the teacher to make sure that the teacher didn’t hear her.

I sat there in a miserable mood for the rest of the class. I didn’t feel bad for taking Jenny spot, but Jenny must be confused and lost.

“Fight for her!” I said to Maxie before the end of the class.

“How am I supposed to that?”

“I haven’t thought that far ahead.”

“Well, that doesn’t help me!” Maxie said. “But I will give it a shot”

“That’s a girl!

 “Hey, what are you going to do about Lizzie you can’t keep putting her off? You just bottling up anything toward her and soon things are going to get big and ugly.” I said changing the subject.

“Sometimes I just want to punch her in the head, but then I just want to forget about it happening and move on; life to short to fight.”

“You do know that things aren’t going to be the same anymore between you and Lizzie.”

“I know. I will find her at lunch and talk to her about it.”

“Also, when are you going back home to your dad”

Maxie looked at me.

“You got to be kidding. I am not going back to that place.”

“You will have to soon because he your legal guardian and you can’t stay at my place for ever.”

“I will get a job and find a hotel and stay at that.”

“You won’t last long, Maxie. If you don’t want to go back, testify against him, put a statement in to the police and then there will be an investigation. Then you can get ‘living out of home’ money from the government.”

“What happen if nothing happen and dad get out Scot free and then I will have to go back home and then things will get worst.”

“That’s not going to happen Maxie I swear, just do it you will thank me later.”

“Hmm, I not so sure, ” I said not convinced.

Jenny’s POV:

A month has gone by and only 5 weeks till graduation. Maxie and I haven’t even talked since the elevator thing happens. Lizzie and Maxie are still fighting, but Maxie has testified against her dad. Maxie now lives in a little unit, she got a job at ‘Sunny Sunny Beauty Parlor’. Ally loves the cheerleading and is very popular now with all the boys, with nice tan long legs. But still Ally gets to hang around the others. I still get invited to the popular parties, none of my friends treat me the same now since that I am not the head cheerleader. Lizzie and Logan are still growing strong together, but Lizzie seems to be putting on some weight, not being mean or anything but she was really skinny. Ally and I are really close; she keeps me informed of everything in that group but mostly Maxie. Ally told me that she and Mr Ed have been getting closer. Ally thinks she has a thing for him, but I think it only a teacher crush like most students have. She caught up in her research project but Mr Evens and her are still; having catch up lesson.
