Stoney picked up the phone after 6 rings he slowly answered and asked who it was, as soon as he heard her voice, he gave a chuckle and asked Mama D how she has been doing that he hasn't heard from her in a very long time. Dimitra talked to him for a few hours before telling him the importance of her call. But after she told him about Criss losing his wife and son in a car wreck, and that he refused help from anyone, and she was afraid that he was going to kill himself. Because no one could get thru to him, then she added thru tears, that he ran off and was shooting up. Something that she knew he knew all too much about because he used to do it all the time until he got help from her and John.

Stoney gave a deep sigh and asked her what in the hell did she want him to do about it, that he and Criss stopped talking to each other after the falling out they had over his little sister Kc. Because Criss broke her heart just so he could be with Saundra instead, and Kc's never gotten over him. Dimitra apologized for Criss's behavior but this was a life or death situation, and she would really be thankful if he would come and give it a try because nothing else they were trying was working and it's been three months since Shelly's and Sam's death.

Stoney stood up and gave a stretch and said he would get his shit together and head out as soon as his Kc got back from town. Dimitra thanked him many times before they hung up with each other. Stoney put his phone in his pocket and gave a slight grumble as he said his little sister was going to hate him for this, but he didn't have that heart to say no to Mama D because she was always there for him and Kc when they were kids, and now she needed their help. So he went to his room and packed some things into a suitcase. Then he strapped his guitar to his back and carried it down to the front door.

Just when he sat the bag on the floor Kc came in and put the groceries up and asked him if he was planning on going on a vacation without her. Stoney chuckled at her and said it wasn't just he that was going, that we were going to Las Vegas, because a very old friend needed help and that he was called on for it. Kc turned to face her older brother and asked him what did they owe that family...after what Criss did to her. Stoney put her in a bear hug and told her that Criss was in serious trouble from himself, then added that his wife and three-year-old son was killed in a vehicle accident, and Criss needed help, because he was giving up on life, and nothing anyone else did or said to him was working. Kc said he could go, but she was staying home.

Klayton gave her a kiss on the cheek and told her that she was going with him, because he was tired of her living her life in the hurtful past and that he needed her help. Then he added that Mama D was the one that asked for them to be there, and they did owe it to her. Kc gave her brother an insecure smile then headed up to her room to get some things gathered up and stuffed into her duffel bag. Stoney locked up the house and loaded their bags into the taxi that she called for, then headed to the airport. As soon as they were seated on the plane, all that was left was the waiting to land. Where either JD or Costa would be waiting for them at the airport to pick them up and take them out to Serenity.

What seemed to be only a couple hours, then they were landing at the Vegas land strip. Once Kc and Klayton got off the plane and picked their bags off the luggage chute, they walked to the front gate of the port where JD was waiting for them in front of his car. When they saw each other it was just like going back in time, as they all began to reminisce about their past together as close friends. JD went up to Kc and took her bag from her and loaded it in the back then he gave her a huge hug like they were still the best of friends, then did the same for Klayton. After they hopped in the car, the short trip to Serenity was very quiet other than JD telling Klayton how bad off his brother was, and he honestly didn't think anything was going to help him just for the fact that no one has been able to locate him after his little run-in with Costa 4 days ago.

Stoney grabbed his and his sister's bags as JD walked them both to the house, where they were greeted with a warm and emotional hug by the entire family. Dimitra hugged him a third time as she thanked him for coming, and that she was praying and hoping that he could find Criss and bring him back home, and maybe help him out of the shit he's chosen to do to himself. Stoney kissed her on the forehead and told her that if anyone could find Criss on the streets, it was him, then he said to give him one day of rest from the flight, then first thing in the morning he would take his shit to the streets and one way or another he would bring Criss back to the house where he would be safe. Even if he had to beat the fucking sense into him, to let it sink in his stubborn fucking skull that there were still people that loved and needed him in their lives. Then Rachel showed him and Kc to their rooms so they could get some sleep.
