{Location: The airjutzu temple}(Zane's POV)[Time: Between Undeniable and Black & White]
My calendar sends me an alert. Sparting time with brothers. My programming automatically performers my roll call. Sensei/reffer. Myself: Check. Kai: Check. Cole: Check. Jay: Check. Lloyd: Absent due to medication. Morro: Missing.
Kai picks out his sword, "So, what are the matches for today Zane?"
As I am about to roll the dice, the doors burst open as Morro dashes in. He is breathing heavily and nearly runs into Jay, "Sorry I'm late. Lloyd kept me up."
Jay rolls his eyes as he grabs his weapon, "What the heck were you two doing? I thought you were' just letting Kit say hi to Willow."
"I agree with Jay," I frown as Cole grabs his training scythe, "I would have thought simply saying hello would not have taken much time."
"We...um...encountered a few different problems." Morro rubs the back of his head as I grab throwing stars. He spins into his gi as Sensei has an idea face on, "So how does this work?"
Kai rests his sword on his shoulders, "Well, we're sparing, A.K.A., fighting. Witch involves punching, hitting, kicking-um, on second thought you might need to take some notes, newbie."
Jay and Cole snicker a little as I'm a tad lost. Morro already knows how to fight. Why did Kai feel the need to explain it and in that way?
"Har-har, you're so funny," Morro moves his hand over one of the staffs then picks the one that has a striking resembling Sensei's.
I turn to Sensei, "If you would like, I can calculate an algorithm on randomized changes for today's matches."
"I appreciate the thought Zane but I have another idea for today's training." He spins, leaving a small gold trail in his path. Once he's done, it's a perfect circle. He smirks as he sits criss-cross, "Morro, remember circle time?"
Morro moans and covers his eyes, "No. Not that 'game'. I hate that exercise."
"Umm," Cole folds his arms as Morro shuffles his feet into the middle, "What the heck is that?"
Sensei sits up tall, "It's easy. There's a circle of people, with one in the middle. The one in the middle has to fight off everyone else. The 'game' ends either when the middle person can not go on or the others are pushed outside the circle line. I've never done with you four and we had other things to work on with Lloyd."
Jay huffs as I look up and see the girls watching us from the second floor, "Easy stuff. Like you said, it's four on one."
Morro takes a deep breath then starts swinging his staff around.
Sensei schoots back a little, "One more thing. Kai, Morro and I had a conversation earlier. So for the first match we will allow powers."
A not too quiet round of yeses under our breath sounds.
Morro stops spinning and pulls on his hood. He starts swinging the staff side to side figure 8 style. "It's not gonna be that easy."
"Oh come on," Kai draws his sword as we slowly draw closer to Morro, "The last time we did this, you had the power of the Green Ninja."
I feel like Sensei knows something we do not. He holds up a small symbol and hits it, "Began."
Cole grips his scythe, "All in."
Ah yes. 'All in', our code for, bomb rush someone. And we do just that.
Only it does not work out for us. I slam in like the others do but Morro vanished.
