The winter festival(pt. 2)

{Location: New Ninjago city mall's food court}(Willow's POV)

I rub my eyes as I swallow the last bite of my sandwich, "So, what's the point of this again?"  I point to the color-coded outline of today's to-do list. Which is odd considering it's before dawn right now.

Seliel folds her arms as she leans back in her chair, "I have no idea other then it looks like torcher."

Nya sips on her drink as Katara wipes her mouth with a napkin, "Last year....wasn't the best. Let's just say I may have been short on my gifts."

Pixel tilts her head, "If by not the best you mean that-"

Nya raises an eyebrow as Pixel quiets down, "I don't want to talk about it. The problem was it was just me. But this year, I finally get back up," She gestures to all of us, "I've carefully mapped out and found the best deals for the stuff the guys want. It's gonna go like this."  Nya jumps into a long confusing type of plan that goes way over my head.  "Any question?"

  Seliel raises her hand, "Yeah. Can you explain that all again?"

Nya frowns, "OK. Where did you get lost?"

Skylor folds her arms, "I think after you said something about an all-day- daycare for, Kit."

I bite my lip, "Besides, Kit is with Sensei and Misako, pointing out all the toys she'd like."  I look at the candy-colored calender, yikes this looks like a mess.

Katara looks it over, "How about we just wander around in pairs?"

Nya sits back down, "That'll take forever."

  Seliel stands up, "So will this...in the wrong way."  She fingers her dark blue hood, "Look, we'll stay in the mall, each of us has a cell phone so we'll text when we're ready to leave."

I stand up, "I like that kinda plan."  Almost. I'd almost prefer going off on my own. Then again, I have no idea what to get Lloyd.

Nya hums as Katara and Pixel stand up, "Fine. I'll meet you, girls, back here."  She moans as I walk out of the relatively quiet food court and into the mall.

From what little people there are I squeeze my way past them. What am I gonna do? Lloyd's going get me something amazing and perfect and I'll probably just give him the equivalent of dirt to him. 

"HEY," Seliel taps me on my shoulder, "You're stuck with me remember?"

I almost expected anyone else, "And how is that?"

  Seliel shrugs as we walk along the walls, "Nya and Skylor had plans for other places and Pixel and Katara had other stores to shop at."

I shrug my shoulder as I manage to find some space to breathing, "Fine with me. Where to first?"

Seliel shrugs her shoulders as we walk to what looks like a random arcade center in the hallway, "I have no idea."  She sighs a little, "And besides, do I even need to get a gift? I'm not planning to hang around for long."

I raise my eyebrow as we stop in front of a pink dance style game, "You have no idea what to get Cole, hm?"

  Seliel deflates a little, "Yeah."  She straightens up, "Do you have any idea what to get Lloyd?"

I shake my head as I look at the machine, instead of a dance floor with arrows there's a single large heart, "Is this an old perfect match consul?"

Seliel leans on it, "Yeah. I heard these things only were issued to New Ninjago city. But then they were scrapped."

"Apparently not all of them."  I am so bored might as well play the game. Mabey I could get an idea what to get Lloyd, "Come on. Let's play."

Seliel  steps back, "After you."
