I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I smiled, and stretched out. Did he seriously make me breakfast...? I laughed to myself, and sat up, rubbing my eyes. Memories from last night flew through my head. I smiled. I remembered eating, snuggling, overall just having a great night with him. I stood, and walked into the kitchen. Bill was humming, piling pancakes onto a plate. I laughed.

"Mornin', sunshine!" I giggled, wrapping my arms around him. He smiled.
"Hey, a-Amy." He lightly bumped his head against mine, making me giggle. I pulled away, and sat down.

"You didn't have to make breakfast." I said. He turned, handing me a plate of pancakes.

"Yeah, but h-how else would I t-thank you?" He asked. I gently shoved him.

"Last night was awesome, it was the only thanks I needed." I started to eat, and my face brightened. "MMM! Jesus, bill, these are good! I didn't know you could cook well." I said, stuffing my face. He rolled his eyes.

"Gee, thanks." He snorted. I winked jokingly.

"So, what's on the agenda, leader?" I joked. He smiled.

"Let's go a-anywhere but my house."

       "Sounds good, I'm in."

I finished eating, and we both got on our bikes, pedaling into town. We passed near Beverly's, and I froze.

"Stop. Idea." I said. Bill turned to me.

   "What?"

"Let's take Bev with us. She's probably bored." I said. He nodded in agreement. We put down our bikes, and walked to the door, knocking. It was open. I turned to Bill, and he nodded, hinting for me to walk in. He walked in front of me. Y'know, just in case. I mean, he was the man of the relationship. We walked around the house. There wasn't a single sound. It was like-

"No o-ones here...." Bill muttered. I shook my head.

"There's no way. BEV!!!" I called for her. Bill whacked my arm

"Shh!!!"  He scolded. I rolled my eyes.

"She's probably home alone, let's go." I grabbed his hand, and pulled him upstairs, opening every door. We stopped at the bathroom.

"Let's just go, s-she's not home." Bill said.

"Nuh-uh." I said. "There's no way." I opened up the bathroom door, and screamed, falling back. Bill caught me.

"Oh my g-god." Bill said. The man that had opened the door for me when I came over was lying on the floor, blood pooling out of his head. My hands flew to cover my mouth, and I gagged. The panic, and the putrid smell of blood making me overly nauseous. Where's Beverly.

"I-I-It has her." Bill said, slamming the bathroom door. My eyes went wide. There's no way.

"W-we have to go. Let's get the others." I jumped out of Bill's arms, and ran down the stairs.Bill nodded quickly.

We pulled up to the arcade, and I jumped off my bike, giving Bill the signal to stay there. I ran into the arcade, my mind fixed on finding Richie. I finally saw him, and ran up to him.

"Richie!" I grabbed his arm. He snorted.

"Ah, yes, the Amy. Are you here to let me kick your ass in Mortal Kombat again~?" He mocked. I glared at him.

"Richie this is serious." I said. He picked up on my tone, and turned, his face concerned.

"What happened?" He asked. I took a deep breath.

        "It has Beverly."
