Ember let's out a giggle at something Beverly has said about Greta as they make their way to their lockers which happened to be right besides eachother.

"Today's the last day Embs, fucking finally it's over!" The ginger haired girl cheers as they collect their belongings

"Heck yeah. No more annoying teachers and people" Ember sighs happily

"Got that right. Hey I'll meet you outside, I'm gonna head to the bathroom for a smoke" Beverly says to Ember, not bothering to invite her seeing as Ember doesn't smoke

"Alright, don't be too long now" Ember giggles waving off her friend

Ember finishes gathering her things and shuts her now empty locker as she quickly makes her way out the school doors with a wide smile

She was to happy to finally be done with school. No more staying up late to finish homework or to study. Finally she got to sleep in and go to bed as she pleases

Ember makes her way over to a couple of trashcans intending to throw away her stuff which she did not need anymore only to be beat to it by the losers club.

"Best feeling ever." Stan sighs contently while emptying his backpack

"Try tickling your pickle for the first time" Richie jokes with a smirk

"Excuse me" Ember shyly says trying to throw away her stuff that's gotten heavy in her arms

"Oh-sorry Ember" Stan quickly apologizes, his cheeks flushing bright red

"Whipped" Richie mutters while pretending to cough only to get a shove from Bill

"Shut it Richie" Stan glares

"So, what're you boys doing over the summer?" Ember asks trying to clear the awkward air due to Richies comment

"Training" Richie smiles while adjusting his thickly framed glasses

"Training? What for?" Ember asks quirking her eyebrow

"Street fighting" The boy smiles

"Richie. Just shut it. It's some stupid arcade game he is obssessed with" Stan says with a roll of his eyes causing Ember to giggle

"Are you seriously going to spend your summer in an arcade?" Eddie asks slightly annoyed and slightly curious

"Beats spending it inside your mother" Richie loudly says while laughing at his own joke turning to Stan for a high five of encouragement only to be let down as Stan rejects it

"That is so not funny" Eddie glares

"You boys are too much" Ember says looking at each of them, her eyes lingering a little longer on Stan before she quickly averts her gaze

"S-s-sorry Ember, guess that's w-why nobody really l-likes us" Bill shrugs awkwardly and slightly embarrassed

"I like it" Ember says quickly as soon as Bill finishes his sentence with a smile
