Unknown dog... I'm not sure who it was but it could have been Shadow.

Late at night, I was hanging out with my cat. Shadow had passed away two months earlier and we still haven't gotten another dog.
Click, click, click...
The sound of claws on the wooden floor in the hallway outside my room.
Where Shadow was alive, she'd scratch the door and it'd open.
The sound of claws on a wooden door was heard and my door opened and nothing was there.
But my cat stared at the door like he had seen his best friend again.
So I'm guessing it was Shadow because her and my cat were best friends.
