*Gelo's pov*

"Why the hell would punch someone!?!?!" My dad yelled at me, "Why you actin a fool!?!"
"He was sending people pictures of Braelyn dad! Pictures that no one should've saw!" I sighed.
"That still isn't a reason to get in a fight LiAngelo!"
"He wasn't going to take them down unless I did dad, you just don't understand!" I shook my head.
"I understand that fighting isn't the answer to your problems and now the video is going viral and everyone knows that you are out at school beating other people up! UCLA sees this and you could be putting your career in jeopardy, so I don't think you understand!" he poked my chest, pushing me back a little.
"I'm sorry dad," I shrugged a bit and sighed, "I just, I got so mad. She's my girl and they were posting inappropriate pictures of her."
"I understand that, but violence isn't the answer," he shook his head, "The next couple games you're going to sit out till you start acting right again. Now go upstairs." I nodded and walked up to my room. I sighed a bit and put my bag down on the floor. I sat down in my bed and checked my phone. Brae texted me saying that her mom came home today. I smiled at my phone and replied.

*Braelyn's pov*

DING! I grabbed my phone and checked it, LiAngelo. I smiled big and read the text.

Gelo-
Omg that's great
baby! I got off
pretty easily, thank
god.

Me-
What happened?

Gelo-
He just told me
fight people
wasn't the answer
and then suspended
me from a few
basketball games.

Me-
Oh damn.. I'm
sorry. I know
you love playing

Gelo-
I'll be alright.
Are you okay?

Me-
Yeah, kind of
I guess.

Gelo-
Wanna talk about
it?

Me-
Really regret sending
those pictures but
he hounded me
for them...

Gelo-
What an asshole.
Expose him babe.
Post screenshots
of the messages.

Me-
I'm not tryin to
start more drama.
I just want it to go
away...

Gelo-
I understand.
Mind if I sneak
over?

Me-
Please.

I heard a knock on the door and I jogged downstairs. "I got it, its LiAngelo," I went to the door and opened the door. It wasn't LiAngelo... I backed away from the door slowly and watched the masked man... I glanced down at his wrist and saw the same tattoo. My breathing hitched and my chest got tighter... "Where the hell is my money!!?!" He screamed, he pulled out his gun. He didn't point it at my mom, nor my dad. He wrapped his other arm around my neck and held the gun to my head. I knew he would pull the trigger, seeing he did before. "Give me my money or I'll blow her brains out!!" he yelled, his deep voice piercing my ears. I started to cry and  stared at my mom and dad. Then all of a sudden he was hit with something from behind. He fell to the floor, as did I. I pulled away from his grip, seeing he was passed out. I cried harder and looked into the doorway. LiAngelo. I ran to him and hugged him tight. "Oh my god," I cried hard.
"Shhh baby," He held me closer, rocking us gently. I heard my dad talking to police on the phone. I cried into Gelo's chest. I was traumatized... "Maybe violence is the answer sometimes," Gelo chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. I laughed a bit and nodded. I pulled away and wiped my eyes. "Maybe sometimes," I nodded. I heard police sirens getting closer. I took Gelo's hand and walked out of the way of the doorway. They pulled into the drive way and got out fast. They came up and handcuffed the man. They took his gun and unloaded it. "Is everyone safe??" one of the police man asked.
"Yeah but he held my daughter at gun point," my father sighed.
"Okay we will have to bring you guys in and get your statements okay?" he asked.
"O-okay," I nodded, hugging LiAngelo tighter. They took him out to the cop car and put him in. I walked out with LiAngelo and my parents followed behind. LaVar and Tina were outside watching. "LiAngelo!" LaVar called.
"I'm sorry dad but if I wouldn't have snuck out Braelyn would've been shot," he sighed.
"Good job son," LaVar nodded, not mad.
"Thank you," LiAngelo smiled small, "Could I go wi-"
"Go ahead," he nodded. I walked with Gelo to his car and got in. We followed the cops to the police station. "Are you sure you're okay with going and giving a statement?" Gelo rubbed my thigh as he drove.
"I have to be," I sighed.
"I'll be right outside the room baby okay?" he glanced at me.
"Okay," I nodded.

I walked out of the small room and hugged LiAngelo tight, who was waiting right outside the room. "How'd it go?" he sighed.
"Terrifying," I sniffled a bit.
"I'm sorry babygirl," he sighed, hugging me tight.
"It's okay, he's gonna go to prison," I nodded.
"Yes he is, for a very long time," he nodded, holding me close. I smiled weak up at him and we sat down on the bench. We waiting for my mom and dad to do their statements. After they finished we all went back to our cars. "Do you wanna head home or you want to stop and get lunch?" my dad asked.
"Home," I sighed, shrugging.
"Alright, Gelo you take her home and I'm going to stop and get lunch okay?" he helped my mom into the car.
"Okay," Gelo nodded. We got into Gelo's car and I looked over at him. He sighed and could see the pain in my eyes. "C'mere," he pushed his seat back and I crawled over and straddled him. I cried into his chest, my hands gripping his shirt. "You want to go back to my house?"
"P-please," I cried harder.
"We can baby," he held me, rubbing my back. I started to calm down as he played with my hair. I pulled away and sighed. "I don't know why you're still with me. I mean my life is so fucked up right now. I'm surprised you didn't give up on me..."
"I wouldn't baby," he sighed, "Through thick and thin. Hard and easy."
"You promise?" I sighed.
"I promise," he nodded, "I'll love you even if you cant ever opened a door again baby."
"You love me?" I smiled at him.
"I always have," he nodded.
"I love you too," I smiled big at him. He smiled back and rubbed my sides. "Let's get home babygirl."
