"Ladies first." Jaden cajoles me into singing first. After his sulking about Harry Styles, we decided to go singing since he's been so hell bent in proving that the only edge of Harry over him is his long hair. And according to him, it is not even an advantage because it looks dirty. I better not sell that remarks of his to the press or he'll be bashed. To sum it all, he thinks he's better than Harry in everything.

"That's not being gentleman." I object. I pick the remote and randomly choose his first song which turns out to be a One Direction's song Best Song Over. He looks provoked now, so he doesn't hesitate anymore when I hand him the mic.

"Listen as I defeat that Harry Styles of yours."

I grin as the familiar intro of the song starts to play.

"Ahhh, ahhh. Test mic, test." He vocalizes.

"You better do well. Harry sings the first part."

He stares at me for a while. "You even know that?"

"What can I say? Fangirling at its finest!" Now it's my turn to smirk.

Maybe it's the way she walked.
Straight into my heart and stole it.
Through the doors and passed the guards.
Just like she already owned it.

He is out of tune sometimes, but he has big potential. I am quite impressed with his singing skills. My impression that he doesn't know One Direction has been totally reversed.

"Wow! You could be Harry." I tease him after he finishes the song. He smiles at me widely, giving me the I-told-you-kind-of-look and fixes his imaginary collar.

"Harry ... Potter." I finish my statement. His smile fades. I can't help but laugh at his epic reaction. It's absolutely hilarious.

"You're such a bully." He says pinching my face. I swat his hand and look at his face. I remember his fading smile then crack up laughing again.

"Stop it." He sounds like scolding.

"Okay, okay." A taunting smile is still visible in my face.

"Your turn." He hands me the mic, which I refuse and point back to him. "Your turn." I turn my head sideways to show my refusal.

I think of an excuse to escape my turn. I  might have loved singing very much, but I love myself more, so it's better to just pass the singing part where I will just completely embarrass myself in front of him.

He starts pressing some buttons on the remote.

"It's a duet song." I see the title that shows on the screen. He turns on another microphone. My right eyebrow lifts up. "I wonder how you knew that song." It's Like I'm Gonna Lose You.

He rolls his eyes at me! It's very quick, but I catch a glimpse of it. Why does he look so cute?

"I figured that you might be shy singing alone, so I would sing with you." He then winks at me. He takes my hand and moves my fingers around the mic, covering it with his hand, so I won't loose grasp of it. The first stanza of the song has already started.

"I'm perfectly capable of holding the mic myself, thank you."

"Ah, this? Don't mind me. This is just a precautionary measure."

I pull my hand, but his grip becomes tighter.

"I'm not going to let go of this until you sing. Your call."

"Okay." I surrender.

"Come on, your part is about to end." I can see frustration on his face which makes me smile. With shaky voice, I start to read the lyrics, I mean sing the second stanza.
