Colby's POV
I woke up with no one there.
"Sam?" I asked.
Then i see a note on the table by my bed.
Colby, I went home cause my mom came back home... love you baby boy...
At least he gets to see his mom... I decided to take a nap..
Sam's POV
"WHY DOES THE HOUSE LOOK LIKE THIS SAM!" My father yelled at me.
'Ii-I." I couldn't talk.
"Honey please stop." My mom pleaded.
"No he needs to be taught a lesson." My dad said coming closer to me.
I backed away.
My dad then punched me in the eye and I fell back.
"Stop it!" My mom yelled pushing my dad away from me.
"Run sam!" My mom said.
I ran out the door and ran. I ran and ran till I couldn't run anymore.
I fell in the grass and cried. My eye hurt and my legs hurt.
Maybe I should call Colby...
"Hey baby." Colby said.
"Plz help me... My da-dad." I stammered.
"Sam whats worng are you okay?" Colby asked panicked.
'I'm at the cliff plz come get me." I said.
"Ill be right there Sammy." Colby said.
I ended the call and ran to the end of the hill...
"Maybe I should jump..." I said to my self.
I was about to when Colby yelled.
"SAM NO!" He ran to me grabbing me and pushing me to the ground. I was sobbing hard.
"Sam don't scare me like that..." Colby cried.
"I'm sorry...." I sobbed.
"Wha-" Colby then looked at my black eye.
'Who beat you up... Was it todd?" He asked crying.
"N-no... It was my dad.." I cried.
"Oh no... I'm so sorry."
"Your coming with me sam." He grabbed my hand and we walked to his house.
When we got inside we went to his room and layed down.
"I love you sam.. Don't forget that." Colby said hugging me.
"I love you to Colby." I said putting my head on his chest.
"Good night baby." Colby said before I drifted off to sleep.
