Chapter 24

Colby's POV

When i knew sam was fully asleep i grabbed my clothes and put them on and ran outside. I smelt brennen's blood and decided why not.

I saw him walking by himself. I grabbed him and put my hand over his mouth.

He screamed but it was muffled. I dragged him into the alley way.

"Hey brennen." I said.

He looked shocked.

"Yeah yeah im alive.." 

"But how?" He asked.

"Let me show you." I said before my fangs emerged and my eyes turned red.

"Vampires arent real.." He said. I grabbed his throat and shoved him against the wall.

"Oh they are.." I chuckled.

"Please dont hurt me colby. Im sorry for everything i did.." He cried.

I looked into his head to see if he meant it.

He did. 

Im sorry colby...

I then remebered how close we were and how he used to back me up in middle school..

Flashback....

"Hahah ur gay ur gay!" 

"No- No im not." I stuttered.

"You kissed him and hes running away. You are gross." They all laughed at me.

Then a boy came out of the croud.

"Its not wrong!" The boy shouted.

They all went away.

"Are you okay?" He said putting his hand out.

"Yea-yeah." I cried.

"Its okay." He said giving me a hug.

"Im brennen."

"Im colby." 

End of flashback

A tear rolled down my cheek.

"Im sorry bren." I said letting him down.

"Its not your fault colby... I shouldve never listened to todd.." He said crying now.

I then hugged him. I havent hugged him in so long and to be honest i miss him.

"Im sorry colby.." He said.

"I accept your apology bren." I said hugging him tighter.

We just sat there hugging..

"Go home bren ill see you later." I said.

"Bye colby.." He said going home.

I then ran back to the cliff and just hung my feet off.

Why is this world so fucked up?

I heard someones thought.

Maybe i should just jump and end it

I then saw a boy at the edge.

He was in tears..

No one will get that you want to be a girl...

I walked over.

"Your not alone." I said. Which starteled him.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"My name is colby and i made the same mistake you are about to make."

"Col-colby? Aren't you dead."

"It doesnt matter. Just don't do it please." I said.

"No one cares about me im all alone." 

"I care about you." I said.

"You dont even know me." He said.

"I know what your going threw and i know your making a huge mistake."

She looked down.

"Your family may not understand at the moment but they will."

"Please just dont do it..." I said.

"Im sorry." She said.

"NO!"
