Palm trees waved in the slight wind, and one could hear the nocturnal animals moving. The island was calm.

Thump

The night birds quieted, and the woods stilled. It was an unknown noise that had just come, and they were waiting to see if it was friend or foe.

Thump

Thump

Suddenly a section of the sand flew up, revealing a hidden door, and out crawled a mangled, dirty figure. Slowly, the figure stood and took a deep breath. A pale, skeletal hand reached up and moved lanky hair aside, revealing what once was a beautiful face and silver eyes. An almost crazed smile slipped across the woman's face.

"Freedom at last." She whispered to nothing as she walked toward the ocean. As she walked deeper, the ocean seemed to wrap around her like a blanket, and soon she was gone.

The Silver Ghost slid silently through the waves as Captain Jim stood at the helm. He sighed as his hand traced the grain of the wood while he was lost in thought. He was once again thinking of the silver-eyed woman who had been taken away all those years ago. They had searched the seas and all the ports, but no one had seen her; the last possible place she would be was Tia Dalma's, so the course was set. Hopefully, Selene was there, if she wasn't maybe Tia could give some insight as to where the young woman was hidden away.

A sunkissed face turned up to the glowing moon that reminded him so much of her, "Where are you, cap't? Where are you?"

Jack Sparrow stood at the helm of The Black Pearl watching the seas for a sign of her. Jack and Jim had come to an agreement after they found his ship; the two of them would split up and search the high seas for black hair and silver eyes.

Sitting in the harbor of another bustling port town, Jack quietly watched the people run around. His eyes kept catching on the pair of twins who ran around doing odd chores for different pirates. They were so achingly familiar, but Jack couldn't put his finger on why. He brushed it off as the rest of his crew appeared.

If only he had known

Silver eyes watched The Black Pearl sail away; she scoffed quietly to herself. Jack was a fool and he always had been.

"Momma! Momma!" Two small children, one boy, and one girl ran out towards her.

The older woman lifted an eyebrow at her children as they smiled at her, "We found Grand-papa!"

Her lips pulled up ever so softly at the two children, "Then lead the way, my children. We don't want to keep him waiting."

The two laughed brightly as they each grabbed one of her hands to drag her down the harbor.

Just a little longer my children

Captain Jim turned to look out at the open water as his heart dropped into his stomach. He was terrified by what was going to happen. Tia Dalma had given him some disturbing news and he feared for the life of his previous captain.

But there was hope as well.

"She is alive. She is fighting. You will find her soon."
