-Lia's Point of View-
"So what you're saying is that you think your prego?" Nahomi asked taking her attention from the road for one second to look at me. We were on the way to the drug store to get some pregnancy tests.
"Yea, I mean my period has never been this late before." I said as the thought of having a child still continued to circle around in my head.
"What if you're pregnant? Are you gonna keep it?" She asked making me immediately snap back into reality.
"Of course but the thing is who is gonna tell Liam if I am" I chuckled and she laughed along with me as we pulled into the parking lot of Walgreen's. We walked to the back of the store and grabbed the package, paid for it then went to a nearby restroom at a gas station. "Okay so all I have to do is pee on it then wait five minutes for the results right?" I asked taking three sticks from her. She nodded and I headed into the bathroom.
*5 minutes later*
"Lia.... what does it say?" I heard Nahomi say before I finally stepped out of the stall with the tests in my hand.
"They're all positive. I'm pregnant" I said and she pulled me in for a hug. Honestly I'm glad those tests read positive. I couldn't help but think about me and Niall's life as parents. Our son or daughter would run into Niall's arms when he comes home from tour. I just got so comfortable in the-

"Excuse me Miss Payne I would love to here you gush about the feeling you had about your child but you know what we really want to here. We need your statement from the night of the murder" The judge says interrupting me from my statement that has nothing to do with the case. My eyes are bloodshot from crying and I know that my face is red because I can feel it burning.
"My apologies Judge Garret. May I continue?" I asks and she nods then says, "You may"

Sorry for this super duper short chapter but that's the reason it's a double update this time. But if you're confused let me explain. This whole story is being told by Lia (even though in some chapters its in others people's point of view) that's why most of the things in this story are in past tense.
