Chapter 18

The next day...

Kayden's POV

I woke up and saw someone snuggled up to me. I don't remember anyone falling asleep next to me. Hmm... After looking at the person for a bit, I realized that it was Danica!

"Danica?" I asked and shook her a bit. "Huh?!" she asked and opened her eyes. "Is this a dream?" I asked. "No." she whispered and leaned up to my lips.

Two weeks later...

The whole Jason thing was forgotten.

I replanned the proposal for tonight. It was a bit like last time. We were at the park, just sitting and talking. "Danica?" I asked and put her hand in mine. "Yeah?" she said. "Danica, we've been through so many good memories lately! I want to make this day also to a good memory!" I said and kneeled in front of her and pulled out the black velvet box with the ring out of my pocket and opened it. "Will you marry me?" I asked and she covered her mouth in shock. "Yes! Yes I will!" she practicaly yelled. I smiled and slid the ring on her finger. Then I leaned down and kissed her.

Danica's POV

I can't believe that Kayden just proposed to me! This is just the best day ever!

Later that day...

 We drove to my parent's house, to tell them the news.

"Hey!" dad said as he opened the door. "Hi!" Kayden and I said at the same time. Then we all walked in. "Hey mom!" I said as I saw mom sitting on the couch. "Hi!" she said. Kayden and I sat next to her. Dad also sat down. "We have news for you!" I said. "Great! We also do!" mom said. "You go first!" Kayden said. "Okay!" dad said. "I'm pregnant!" mom said. "What? Really?" I said excitedly. Mom and dad nodded their heads. "That's awesome!" Kayden and I said at the same time, again. "We should stop this!" we said and the same time again. Then we all just laughed. "So, what's your news?" dad asked. "We're getting married!" we said at the same time. I held up my hand, for them to see my engagement ring. "Oh my James! I'm so happy for you both!" mom said. "Did you really just say 'Oh my James'?!" dad smirked. "Yes! Sorry, the fangirl came up again!" she said. "Anyways, congrats!" dad said. We all laughed then and Damien came and sat down with us. He sat on my lap. "Hey baby boy! What's up?" I asked and hugged him. "I'm mad at both of you! You weren't at school today and you weren't in kindergarden!" he said and pointed to each of  us while talking.

I was working in Damien's school as Music, Drama and sports teacher and well, you know about Kayden. "I'm sorry Damien but we both had a day off today!" Kayden explained him. "Can we play now at least?" he asked. "Sure!" Kayden said and stood up with Damien following him. They went to play and when it got dark outside, Kayden and I left.

4 months later...

Today is the day. The day I get married to Kayden. I was as excited as I was ever before. Everyone was here. All my family and friends and Kayden's family and friends.

A few hours later...

I'm officaly Mrs. Mitchell now. I still can't believe it though! "Have a nice night you two!" dad said and winked. We laughed. My parents and Damien were the last ones to leave. When they left, Kayden and I drove to his house. We decided to keep that house because I was already living with him there and as long as we don't have any baby company, the place is fine.
