22. Avoid! Avoid!

Zamy's POV

Crap my throat hurts for singing to much, I shaked my head as I could see a bunch of kids coming out of the school and waiting for their rides. Many of them said "Look it's a Zonecop car!" Or "Wow! Look at that!", I waved at some kids as they took pictures of the car. I leaned down on the seat keeping my eyes focused at the front door of the school.

I gasped in excitement as I saw Zream coming out of the front door while wearing an orange dress with a blue ribbon in the middle, she had a red backpack as I moved my window down and waved at her. "Zream Over Here!!!" I shouted as she looked up and the other kids stared at her.

"You know them Zream?"

"Are you in trouble?"

"Of course not dumbass! She is the daughter of the Zonecop nurse!"

"Who are they Zream?"

"That is so cool! Can we come with you?"

"Uh..." Zream looked at them all as they were surrounding her, she gulped loudly and ran passed by the group of students and got in the Zonecop car fastly. Zhadow started to drive and I could see from the review mirror all those kids with their arm's crossed while having either an angry expression or they were pouting.

My eyes narrowed a bit as I saw we were slowly getting away from them, "hi Zream" I smiled at her while looking back at her. She was hugging her knees as I frowned, "are you okay?" I asked as she nodded slowly not making eye contact.

I bit my bottom lip and sat back straight on my seat, I sighed and noticed my phone vibrating. I frowned and picked it up, I have been getting non stop calls from Zonic and text messages. I groan a bit as I tapped the text message app and started to read them.

I kept looking at the messages and realizing there were way more, I went to the phone call app and saw I had 34 missed calls. I laughed nervously as I felt Zream tap my shoulder, "Did you went to Ztarbucks?" She asked in a soft voice as I nodded. "Yeah and...I got you...umm...a half cup of vanilla coffee... Here" I said giving her and awkward smile as I passed her the cup, "oh um...thank you?" She raised an eyebrow as I looked back at my phone.

I started to type on the screen keyboard and sended Zonic a message.

I put my phone down as I looked in the top review mirror of the car and saw Zream drinking the coffee, wait isn't it bad for kids to be drink coffee?... I don't know...oh well she is 12. I decided to make small talk because 1) Awkward silence 2) Need to get to know her better and 3) literally the whole point of this is so we can both become good friend!
