20. No sleep

Zamy's POV

We both stayed quiet until I said hi back and waved at them, Zonic and Zhadow kept making eye contact but neither one of them said a word. "So... um we are gonna take the stairs to uh
... excersice?... and uh...yeah...See you guys later!" I laughed nervously as I grabbed Zonic by his arm and dragged him to the door that said STAIRS in really big bold letters.

I opened the door and walked in with Zonic as he had his arms crossed, my jaw dropped as I looked up and saw there were a bunch of stairs that went up. Damn it I forgot that I am still on crutches, I sighed and then heard footsteps as I saw Zonic was already half way to the stairs. "Wait for me!" I said as I started to climb the stairs, he didn't look back at me he just kept going.

Okay just go slow and steady... slow and steady...slow and steady... Just go- "HOLY JESUS HOW DID YOU MADE IT ALL THE WAY UP THERE?!" I shouted as I looked up and saw Zonic was already at the 1st floor. I am barely at the 3rd step! He looked down at me as he sighed and rolled his eyes, I saw him move away from where I can see him as I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I stood there confused until I finally saw him again walking towards me and stop infront of me, he picked me up as I was grabing both of my crutches with my hands as he started to walk up the stairs.

I put the crutches on top of me so it wouldn't be in the way while he walked, I looked up at Zonic's face who had an emotionaless expression the whole time. I started to poke Zonic's cheek with my index finger as I smiled at him, I kept doing that over and over again until he finally looked at me.

"What are you doing?"

"Trying to make you laugh...is it working?" I whispered to him as he chuckled, "not really" he shaked his head as he kept walking. "Well darn" I laughed as he rolled his eyes, "yeah yeah..." He sighed as I notice we were already on the 47th floor, I gasped loudly which got Zonic's attention as he looked at me worried.

"What? What's wrong?"

"I forgot that I called the pizza delivery man a while ago... Oops"

"Seriously pinkie? Well it looks like we are gonna have to run" he smirked as I frowned, "oh no..." I muttered as I grabbed on tight my crutches.

"Oh yeah" Zonic said as he started to run really fast up.

"We are here."

Zonic put me down as I was holding tight on my crutches, I opened the door and walked in as I saw our apartment door. I heard the door close as Zonic walked in to the hall with me, I saw the pizza delivery man infront of the door while he was looking at his watch. He was about to leave...or just moved his leg...but either way I stopped him with my loud yelling, "WAIT!!! WE ARE HERE" I shouted as I rushed to him.

"Uh..."

"Sorry we were late, we had to walk on the stairs and took some time since she is on crutches " Zonic explained as the delivery man nodded and gave Zonic his pizza, "it's okay, there has been customers who had made me wait for an hour this is nothing" he joked as I smiled. "So how much is it?" Zonic asked him as the delivery man passed him the pizza box, "$15.08" he replied as Zonic got out his wallet and gave him the money.

The pizza delivery man waved goodbye as he left to the elevator, I slide my ID on the door and walked in when the door slide open. I sat in the couch of the living room and put my crutches beside me, Zonic put the pizza in the middle of the table that was infront of the couch as he went inside the kitchen and got us plates.
