we kept walking through the woods we were pretty far away from the high way I was getting tired my feet hurt we couldn't rest because the sun would be going down soon. Raven keep up. dad snapped I frowned everyone was at each other's throats I mean yeah sure I get Sophia was missing but come on yelling at each other and just acting how everyone was acting it was ridiculous as we were walking we heard a gun shot at that time I turned something didn't feel right  apparently Lori didn't like it either. We kept  moving and a while later  she turned around they talked about how they should have  caught up. Maybe one  of them had to use the bathroom and their gun went off. I said Lori looked over at me like I had just slapped her. It  was just a thought. I said dad nodded at me saying it was ok Carol then said it. The thought of her *Sophia* being out here alone and not knowing is what's killing me I just keep hoping and praying she didn't wind up like Amy. We all stopped she went to apologise to Andrea who wasn't mad or didn't show it. We're all hoping and praying along  with you for what it's worth. I'll tell you what it's worth. Dad started. Not a damn thing, it's a waist of time all this hoping and praying. I covered my eyes with my hand just really praying Carol didn't slap dad. We're just gonna locate that little girl and she's gonna be just fine... Am I the only zen one round here? Good Lord. I tried not to laugh but it kinda came out as a cough we kept walking after that little thing soon enough dad showed me that the sling was collapsible and put it in the pouch he then took my quiver and put it around his waist for a while and we kept going I got pretty board though. Hey monkey you still back there? Yup. I said as I did a hand stand and then doing a back bend some. What are you doing? Turning this walk fun. I said doing a cart wheel. Well can ya stay on yer feet? That's the point of the game though. What's the point? I can only stay on my feet long enough to either do a flip, cartwheel, or walking hand stand. Raven I don't know if you noticed but this is a very serious thing. I turned and looked at Carol. I-I know I was just- so stay on your feet and keep walking. I turned. Raven come walk in front of me so I can keep an eye on you. I walked in front of dad trying not to cry he sighed. Dad can I have my quiver back? He nodded and gave it to me and then I put it back on and kept walking falling into place next to dad we beat around the bushes and then we had to call it quits and we started heading back I didn't start doing anything I normally would do we kept walking and I was walking near Andrea and we kinda strayed some I didn't realize what was next to me till Andrea pushed me behind her screaming I then saw a walker I started backing up but tripped and fell my arm started burning I started scooting myself backwards and was starting to hyperventilate while trying to get an arrow and shoot the thing it was going after Andrea I grabbed an arrow and fumbled around with it some. calm down Raven calm down. I kept muttering I propped myself up with my elbows some bending my knees up trying to scoot away as some chick on a horse hit the thing with a bat. Lori Grimes? she asked. I'm Lori. I looked over at what was going on. Rick sent me you gotta come now. what? she asked confused. there's been an accident, Carl's been shot. my stomach dropped everything started to slow down a lot and loose sound. he's still alive but you gotta come now. Rick needs you just come! Lori took her back pack off dropping it. whoa whoa whoa, we don't know this girl! dad started. you can't get on that horse! the girl then explained stuff she then left with Lori, I still was sitting there terrified out of my wits  I looked at dad the walker she had knocked down sat back up and made a noise. shut up. dad said while shooting the walker in the head he then started walking away. hey are you ok? Glen asked crouching I nodded and looked at my arm which I had cut on a branch when Andrea had pushed me back behind her. let me see. Carol said crouching and turning my arm over where blood was running down my left arm and into the palm of my hand. did the walker scratch you?!? dad turned and jogged over. n-no I got cut on a branch. I said starting to stand up. Raven you need to tell us if it got you. it never got near her. Andrea said they looked over at her. it was on her side yes but it didn't touch her. here. Carol said dumping some water on it I held in a gasp as it burned she then wrapped a cloth around it. hold pressure on it. I nodded and we started walking back to the highway when we got back they explained everything. and I heard screams was that you? he asked Andrea. she got attacked by a walker. he asked if she was ok but she wasn't talking to him. Dale Raven needs a band aid or something. Carol said as she sat on the guard rail. why? I removed the once white cloth it was still bleeding. my God what happened?!? he asked looking at it. I-I fell and cut my arm. I said I was still a little out of it and kept thinking about it Carl was shot the chick said still alive which meant he was in pretty bad condition and Rick didn't go get Lori which meant it was bad enough he couldn't leave. Raven! I looked up. yeah? come inside. I nodded and walked in Dakota jumped up and down but finally stopped. and held my arm over the sink while Carol poured rubbing alcohol on it, it burned like everything. are you ok? I nodded some Andrea walked over and started blowing on the cut it made the burning stop but I wasn't about to say that I was in pain she then grabbed a long strand of medical cotton ball thing and placed it on the cut and then wrapped it with medical wrap and tape. that should hold it. thanks. I said I was about to walk off when Carol put a hand on my shoulder. are you sure you're alright other wise? I nodded and then walked outside sitting down on the motorcycle the sun was starting to sink lower and lower and we were out in the open we were talking about what we had to do we came down to some were staying and some were going we would make a sign and leave supplies for Sophia just in case she came back. Dad, Dale, Carol, and Andrea were staying which meant if dad was staying  I was staying cause there was no way he was letting me leave his sight. Glen and T on the other hand were going to the farm because T-dog was getting a really bad infection on his arm where he got cut with a piece of metal dad walked over to the motorcycle and kinda tapped my leg for me to move it because he needed in the saddle bag. keep your oily rags off my brother's motorcycle. he then went into the fact that they could use Merl's stash of drugs he then walked back over and had me move my leg again and put the stash back. Ok what about Raven? I turned and looked at everyone as they looked at me. what about me? I asked. yeah what bout her? dad asked looking at Andrea. I was thinking maybe she would go to the farm... probably a lot safer than on the high way. I frowned. n-no I'm staying here. Raven today when that walker attacked you panicked. well you were panicking too! I snapped while hopping off the motorcycle. but you had your weapon out, you could have shot it, but you didn't because you panicked. like you could have done better. Raven I'm just saying maybe you should go with them. So what?!? I can see my best friend half dead?!? yeah hell no not happening! Raven watch yer mouth. I turned and glared at dad, at everyone. I'm not goin anywhere. I snapped and then going inside the RV I sat down on one of the benches at the table and started messing with one of my knives I was upset because I got called out for panicking I didn't mean to all I knew was I had to do something and dad wasn't there to rescue me. Rave. I heard dad say as he closed the door to the RV I just sat there silent, he sat down in front of me. what's going on with you? I shrugged. Raven- dad I didn't mean to panic... it just kinda happened. I said still just looking at my knife he sighed. well yer right bout one thing. what? Andrea caint do better. I smirked. it's ok, everybody panics sometimes. I looked down. you just gotta know how to get over it so ya can keep goin... cause one of these days yer gonna need a fast recovery from panicking cause yer life or somebody's life gonna depend on it. I looked down and kinda nodded. did you ever panic about stuff like that, dad? he suddenly got pale and looked a bit shocked then looked down and looked back up. I think you need a little more practice on shootin... what do ya think? I knew he changed the subject on purpase but I didn't say anything. probably. I said smirking deep down I wanted to know some stuff I knew dad wasn't telling me but I knew better than to ask which is why I was suddenly mentally kickin myself for opening my mouth but my biggest question right now was why Carl... why did it have to be him?
