Chapter 2

(Erens's POV)

My father ruled this kingdom for 25 years, that's pretty long if you ask me, well he does what has to be done for the sake of the kingdom and it's future.
I went down to where the people gathered and its.. oh, i almost forgot, we are having a ball today to celebrate my birthday, i have no choice but to go.
"Not to be rude, Eren, we did this for you, i think you should be the first to arrive". He said.
"Not to be rude, but its none of your business" i replied.
"huuh, your helpless, Mikasa did her best trying to make you happy,"
"I didn't ask for it" i said, walking down stairs, the next opening will be the boll hall.

(Zen's POV)

Eren, always being cold to others, hmm, at this rate people will start thinking I'm not doing my job to put him into good shape, eren isn't making this any easier.
At least he should try talking to new people, and make new friends, we have many visitors from other kingdoms after all.

Mikasa waited for Eren to arrive, but he was already 40 minutes late she's starting to lose hope, seeing all the visitors getting a bit annoyed,then she heard.
"ladies and gentlemen, i may now present you the 2nd prince of Sweet Vill, Eren Yeager."
It was a miracle to Mikasa that Eren actually showed up, she was happy, now he's heading towards her but was interrupt by someone, it was Armin.
"you finally showed up, you almost got me worried" said Armin with a worried expression. "look, I'm not your little brother, hope you know that" Eren replied with an annoyed face.
"come on it your birthday, your finally 17, lets go have some fun, or else a certain someone is going to be frustrated"
"Mom.... " Eren stated with a sigh

Oh no, its mom now, can't this day get any worse, Eren thought.
"ohh, darling, my sweet little boy is growing up!" Carla said, pulling him into a hug.
"mom their are people and little children watching, its embarrassing" said Eren.
"but I'm your mother, this is totally fine" still hugging him tightly, then she remembered,
"oh Eren there are some of my colleagues who wants to see the birthday boy"
"I'm gonna have to pass"
"ohhh, no you don't, you'll meet them right away, no excuses" she said pulling him to the visitors.
Mom,give me a break, he thought.

Meanwhile, at Aquaria
"come at me!" said Annie, the other opponent rush towards her, but she dodged his fist, kicking him in the leg, and making him cry out. "aaggh"
" you are too fast on you feet, but you expose yourself, making your attacks easily predictable"
She said, "that's all for today, now if you may excuse me, i have someplace to be" with that, she left.

(time skipped).

Annie was all dressed, beautiful, going for a walk to receive some fresh air,she then looked at the sky.

Meanwhile in Sweet Vill,
It was all eyes on "Eren, he look so matured and handsome, almost making the pretty girls lick him up like ice-cream."Eren, this is Elena Mikel, please would you like to show her around?" winking at him. He then looked at the girl, to his surprise, she was beautiful, pretty, she had long red hair with yellow eyes, like the sun, she was almost to his height. "Nah, I'm not interested, and besides i..." he was about to go when his mom pulled him back, interrupting him from what he was saying.
"i thought i said, show her around?" said Carla, looking at him with the face that says (if you decline, you are so dead).
"su... sure" was all Eren said, signaling Elena to follow him.

None of them said a word since Eren started showing her around, all he says was, "this is that", "there is that", "we do this at that" it was so weird. "your highness" Finally, Elena broke the silence. He then looked at her without a word. "your kingdom is pretty big, i think we are far away from the ball" she added.
"yeah, i guess we should be going back then" he replied.
"you've been quiet ever since then" she said. "y.. yeah, well, I'm not too good at talking to others", he said, looking away, that raised Elena's interest in knowing him more, "hmm, your highness, care for a dance?", "N.. No, I've got things to d... ", " have you ever danced with anyone before?" she caught him off, and that reminds Eren that he hadn't danced with any before, and he thought maybe this is a chance, to even dance with a beautiful girl, opportunities come once in a while. "your highness?", she brought him back to reality. "ye... Yeah, i guess" he sighed, "then maybe we should, this is my first too, you know" she said, putting on a faint smile, she was glowing  due to the moon light shining upon her face, beautiful Eren thought. "you know what?, i think that's a good idea", "so lets hurry up your highness", she replied, "you can drop the your highness" he said, touching the back of his head "I'm Eren Yeager", he added.

They arrived at the ball room, it was all eye's on them, Eren had the thought that some people have already misunderstood the situation few seconds ago because miss pretty Elena here is holding his hands, his brother will be having a creepy grin on his face by now.
Eren and Elena walked into the room, to the center, the song being played was changed like they were ordered to.
Every one gave them space, Every on whispering, "is she the one?" , "she's beautiful", bla bla bla here and there, it made Eren blush a bit. They started to dance, it was calm an beautiful, blowing Romantic sensation to the people around them, it was probably the best dance of the day.

It ended, others wished it didn't, it was fantastic.
Elena excused herself from Eren, then, it was Zen, here to teas him of course. "it's a miracle" Zen stated, "for her to finally arrive"
He added. "Eren, who's that?" Mikasa needed answers, "wow, Eren, i never thought you had this side of you", it was Armin, "what are you guys talking about?" Eren said, pretty annoyed now, "I'm surprised that you gave in to her demands" said Armin, "she asked for the dance right?" Armin added, "its none of your business" said Eren, "Yup, probably the best birthday present of the day" said Zen, "do you like her?" said Mikasa, desperate for answers. Eren had enough, annoyed by how they were acting, he left them, saying "guys, give me a break",he then went to take some fresh air outside, it was peaceful, and cold but comforting seeing the whole kingdom celebrate his birthday.

Meanwhile at Aquaria,
Annie staring out her window.
(Annie's POV)
Tonight is a bright night, i wonder whats beyond..

(Eren's POV)
...The stars and what awaits me in the...

... Future, well i don't particularly have a dream

(Eren's POV)

... Ever wanted, live a normal life...

An explosion!, Eren heard people screaming from inside the castle, it was burning, he hurried inside with incredible speed, his powers, gifts is what its called, Eren's gift is speed.
Eren then arrived in the ball room, it was covered in smoke, he found Mikasa, Zen, Armin, his Mother and Father, they where alright, but he felt like he was missing something, something, he looked around, Eren's eyes widened.
