Chapter 5

"Why does he had to show up", Annie thought. "this is the worst".

Eren recognized Annie because of her body and also the mask she was wearing, it was the same as the other day's.

"Elena?",said Jean,
"wh... why are you here?" Elena replied surprisingly, she never thought Jean of all people could come look for her, well, he did.
"it was you who took her after all" said Prince Eren, he was disappointed, "hand over Elena and i will let you off some hooks, but that doesn't mean I'll let you go" he added, "hmp, as expected from you".
"what?!, like I'll agree to th...", "Mikasa!" Eren interrupts her, it made her kept quiet.
"Annie, who wre these people" asked Bert, "they are those who would ruin our plan, our mission" Annie replied as she was ready to bring out her sword, Reiner took his fighting stance, waiting for an attack. Eren sighed "are you seriously going to do this?" he said as Mikasa was already off of her horse ready to take them down, "Elena, just hang in there okey?" Eren said, softly, making Elena's face go bright red, she nodded yes.
"Prince Eren, aren't you a bit too confident?" said Annie with a smirk, "yes, i am" Eren replied proudly, "that's why i won't break a sweat" he added. Tch.. I hate that attitude of his said Annie.

Annie rushed towards Eren but she didn't succeed in attacking him, Mikasa blocked her attack with her hands "she's strong" Annie thought, before she knew it Mikasa spun and landed her feet on Annie's face, making Annie fall to the ground, Mikasa rushed towards her to cut her off but Annie was too good to be cut down easily, she back flipped and disappeared, "wha....?" Mikasa was surprised Annie then reappeared behind her, her blind spot, she was going to be cut down, but then Annie felt breeze through her hair and she was moved back with force making her hit a wall nearby, "Annie!" Reiner and Bert shout out her name and Reiner running towards her while Bert kept hold of Elena, who could possibly do that to Annie?, it was Jean, "Air" was his gift, he used wind force to pull Annie to a wall, she was hit so hard, "thanks" said Mikasa, it made Jean blush a little, he felt proud, "creep" said Eren. "what's that?" said Jean, "now should probably be our chance to get Elena" said Armin, "yes your right" Mikasa replied and ran to Elena and Bert, with Jean supporting her with the wind he was trying to blow away Bert while Mikasa sneak in and get Elena, but they had no idea what Bert's gift was.
There plan worked, Bert was covered with sand and Mikasa was able to grab Elana's hand but something was strange, Bert was still on his feet instead of being blown away and Mikasa couldn't pull Elena away from Bert, super strength, it was Bert's gift.

Annie had the advantage to teleport to Eren and his subordinate Armin and attack them, so she teleported while Reiner rushed in, together they plan on attacking Prince Eren on his horse. Annie appeared behind Eren in mid air, striking him with her smaller knife but he knew she would do that, it was easy for him to use his sword to block her attack without flinching, "his sword" she thought, it was a golden sword, she hasn't seen any sword like that, it was beautiful because of its design, probably expensive, he was a Prince of Sweet Vill after all. Reiner was close to Armin, Armin isn't good at Sword fights, but he was comfortable without showing any signs of fear, Eren then smirked, and appeared behind Reiner, it was a surprise to Reiner, he then felt some pain on his jaw, Eren punched him so hard he fell on the ground. "not afraid huh?" Eren said to Armin "it's not my personality" Armin replied with pride.

Mikasa and Jean fell back to Erens side to regroup, Annie and Reiner teleported to Bert's side.
"you are out numbered" said Armin, "i don't get it..." Annie started "you found us, why not call the guards to handle us and report to your king about the situation?" she added, "we handle things on our own" was all Eren said, "Everything?" Annie asked, "yes, everything" Eren replied, "you guys know what to do if we're in this formation right?" Armin asked on his horse, "sure" Eren, Mikasa and Jean say at the same time.

"isn't this bad?" said Bert, "nah, this is perfect!" said Reiner.

The civilians ran away, seeing the situation getting worst. Jean charged towards Bert, Reiner to Mikasa while Eren to Annie. Mikasa tried punching Reiner but she felt pain in her bones, Reiner's face was covered in metal, "steel" was Reiner's gift, damn it hurts Mikasa thought, while fighting Annie, Eren was observing both Mikasa And Jean, looking for an opening, "there it is" he thought, Bert isn't fighting Jean back, because he held Elena, Eren then ran towards Bert, when he approached Bert, Annie Appeared in front of him, "not so fast" Annie said to him, "check mate" he replied with a smile, Annie and Reiner where on the same horizon, all of a sudden Reiner came with full strength hitting Annie as hard as he could, they both hit a wall, breaking through it, that impact made Annie's mask crack revealing her left eye.
Bert was confused, "Reiner, what are you doing!" he yelled, it was Mikasa's doing, her gift allows her to forced people to comply to her demands, but it only works when she's touching the victim, it only woks on those with gift and for a short time, 12 seconds maximum. Compel, was her gift.

Eren was close to Bert by his left side, while Jean was distracting Bert with dust, Mikasa rushed to the right side of Bert, Eren and Mikasa kicked Bert on his legs making him loose balance, at the same time when Mikasa kicked Bert, she compelled him to release Elena while Jean used the wind to carry Elena to a safe place. Bert fell down, when Eren and Mikasa regrouped, Annie teleported to Bert's side. "you are out numbered" said Eren "you can't teleport with those injuries" he added, referring to Annie, she was squatting near Bert. "you sure talk too much for a prince" said Annie, "watch your mouth" Eren said with a cold expression, "you are in the presence of Prince Eren Yeager" he added.
Silence field the atmosphere, tch, Annie new she had no other choice but to retreat, "she's going to retreat", Eren thought, he then took a short step forward, Annie took a step backwards while holding Bert's and Reiner's shoulders. Eren ran towards her with almost full speed it surprised her, he was so close to touching her then she teleported, she's gone, thankfully she's so good at retreating, so it wasn't something new or hard for her, but Eren knew she would still be in Sweet Vill, she's injured and tired, she can't possibly teleport again, her retreat was her last strength for teleportation of the day.

Seeing no signs of the kidnapper, Eren went back to Elena, he was concerned, "hey, are you already?", "yeah, I'm fine, i think" "i thought you weren't worried about me, you didn't even look at me when you were in the fight" she replied, "i was busy trying to save you" said Eren, he then tapped her head, massaging her hair, "sorry we took so long" said Eren, "thanks to you guys, I'm okay now", she replied while blushing a bit and Eren let out a small laugh, it made Jean jealous, "hey, don't go flirting with my sister!", said Jean, "cousin", Eren corrected him, "by the way, why are you here Jean?" Elena asked, "well, my sister was kidnapped, how could i sit a leave everything to Eren?, i can't do that" he replied touching the back of his head, "kuhm..," Elena laughed, "shall we head back to the castle?" Armin asked, "of course", they all climb on their horses, Elena and Eren rode on the same horse, she was in the front while he was behind riding the horse, it wasn't a long journey but half way through the road back to the castle and Elena had drifted to sleep on Eren's chest.
