Chapter 1
Angel's POV
So I'm sitting on my bed waiting for me to be called into my meeting. Today is the day I get assigned to a human. They most likely will give me a guy like the last time. So when I am called in, I am surprised to see my new charge (human) is a girl. Btw my name is Angel and I am a Cupid.I have blonde hair, green eyes, and white wings that glisten in the wind. Ok the last parts not completely true. Anyway, once I am seating I am handed a packet that informs me on my charge. Apparently, her name is Carmen Mason. I take one look at her picture and drop the packet. She is beautiful! I know Cupids aren't supposed to have feeling for their charges but I couldn't help it. I forgot to listen to my task so when they said I'm dismissed, I had to ask them to repeat it. Making me look stupid! Once I packed all my clothes, I studied my packet one more time. I was just about to leave when i was about to leave the room, I heard an explosion in the meeting hall. I go to check it out and find everyone dead. I see a note that reads " We can revive your fallen if you give us the eternal heart- dark Cupids". I didn't know what to do or where any survivors were so I headed towards earth.
