"So I'm moving out."

"What?" Knock and Korn said at the same time. Both spitting out a mouth full of rice across the table.

"Ugh that's disgusting."

"Sorry." Knock mumbled behind his hand, covering his mouth.

Korn glared at his sister, wiped his hand across his mouth and chewed harder. "What? What do you mean moving out P'Phu?"

"You know I am graduating soon. If I take this summer course, I be done with school. I will have to move out when that happens."

"But what the fuck..." Kavi cleared her throat. Korn rolled his eyes. "...what are we going to do with you gone? We can't afford that place on our own."

"You can always find a new roommate." Kavi said, taking an oversized bite of her breakfast.

"Or you two could move in together." Phu offered, pointing his fork between Knock and Korn. "Knock's already there every night as it is." All three pairs of eyes turned to look at him, mouth's hanging open. Phu stared at all of them. "What? What did I say?"

"It's too soon for them to move in together. They still have school to think about." Kavi said, hitting Phu lightly on the arm.

"That, and we have just started dating." Knock said.

"Though we have known each other our whole lives." Korn countered.

"But that's different. We've never lived with each other before."

"But we have spent a lot of time together."

"Yeah but never like that."

"Guys." Phu tried to interrupt.

"It's like we're living together now." Korn said.

"No it's not. We don't know if we can live together." Knock protested.

"We don't know if we don't try."

"Guys." Phu tried again.

"But what if it doesn't work out?"

"Doesn't work out? Are you sick of me already?"

"Guys." Phu yelled.

Kavi smacked the table. "Yea. Shut it, both of you." Her teacher voice carried through the entire food court. Both Korn and Knock jumped back in their seats, eyes wide. A few other tables turned to look at them before quickly averting their eyes back to their own food.

"I'm not moving out tomorrow. I am moving out at the end of the summer. You still have a few months to decide."

"Well why didn't you say so?" Korn said, stealing a piece of meat from the side of Phu's plate.

"Yeah man, why didn't you tell us sooner." Knock said as he stole a piece of meat from the other side.

"But I did tell you." Phu stuttered, looking back and forth between the two of them as they happily chewed on his pilfered food.

Kavi gently patted the back of Phu's hand. "Anyway, it's still school first you two."

"You know we're in the same major right sis? If we lived together, it would make it easier for us to study."

"You know, that is true." Knock wrapped his arm around Korn's shoulders. "I am warming up to this idea. Making sure we get to class on time together, late night study sessions. Maybe we can even move into our own one-bedroom apartment. Save some money."

Kavi pointed her spoon at Korn. "If you move in together, you will have to tell mom."

"Only when you tell her about," Korn's eyes rolled over to Phu, who had his mouth puffed out with rice, his eyes looking back and forth between him and his sister.

She held up her hands. "Fine. It can wait. For now. But you can't put her off forever."

"Neither can you."

Phu swallowed his bite. "What are we talking about?"

"Nothing. It's not important." Kavi patted his hand again. Korn could see a long habit in the making.

"Only your future." Korn grinned at him.

"Whose future?" Knock looked at Korn, then his sister.

Korn patted Knock's hand. "Ours."

"Oh, okay." Korn couldn't help but laugh. Knock smiled back at him. If they hadn't been in public in the middle of a busy food court, Korn would have happily repaid his smile with a kiss. Instead, he only patted Knock's hand again. Their moment interrupted by a buzzing at his leg. Someone was calling. He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and stared at the screen. The smile fell from his face. With a lot of hesitation, he answered the phone.

"Hello Pop."

A familiar voice from long ago responded, one he'd hoped he'd never hear from again.

"Hello Korn. It's been a long time. I have a favor I need to ask of you. I need you to be my boyfriend one more time."

With one hand still tight on Knock's hand and the other on the phone, Korn looked straight into Knock's eyes and said. "I understand."

Author Note: I am hoping I got the sister's name right. Seemed like she was always teacher, professor or sister in the show. If it's wrong, someone please let me know.

This is a really short update. The chapters should grow as the story grows.
