Okay so I know I said this chapter would be better and longer but hit writters block so just did a filler. Luckily I have the whole wheek off and sould update then sometime. Sorry if chaper disappoints!

Ella's POV

As soon as my feet touched the ground I knew I was done for. I nearly collapsed on the spot but fell to my knee's instead. My nose dripped blood but I didnt bother to wipe it away as I struggled to get to my feet. I stumbled a lot but eventually stood up and started to go into a jog. I dont even know how I was moving with the numbness I felt but the thought of those kids made me push myself harder. I had made it halfway through the forest and quite close to the house before I couldnt carry on. My legs gave up and I felt my head start to bleed as it hit a branch on the floor. I laid there for a few seconds trying to open my eyelids but just feeling them get closer together. A voice entered my ears as his precense appeared next to me almost sobbing. Over his concerned questions I spoke as loudly as I could. "Save........children" I barely got out my last word before my sight turned to black and all I could do was hope he would help save the innocent kids as I didnt know how long I was going to make it and they would need someone like him. 

Nates POV

As soon as the words left her mouth I knew what she was talking about. The fact she got this far in her condition showed how much them kids meant to her and how motherly she was. That thought alone made my wolf howl in pride.Straight away I called out to all my pack who managed to arrive in minutes taking up most of the forest.

There are innocent kids in that house that need to be taken directly to the pack house and be taken care of and treated for any injuries. Most of their pack was destroyed yestoday by you lot which gives me much pride to say but there are probably more of the pack that need to be ended so be careful and be quick

My orders were short and simple as I needed to get my mate back to safety and comfort before her old pack realised she was here. I picked her up carefuly hating how broken she looked and ran as fast as I could to the pack house. I felt a sence of Deja Vu as I called for the doc and laid my mate down on my bed. He ran in and looked her over carefully but quickly, not needing to ask any questions. "She should be fine but I really dont understand how she even managed to move out this room let alone past the forest, you have a much stronger mate then I first thought of." He gave me a warm but confused smile as I took a place next to her.

"When will she wake up?" The doc grabbed a seringe from his case and put it in her arm barely glancing at me while speaking. "I am putting her into a enforced coma to be make sure she gets enough rest. I will wake her up slowly tomorow sometime. However I wouldnt let her out your sights for a while to be on the safe side" I nearly laughed at the thought of me ever leaving her side. She was a sneaky little thing which although it made me proud, I knew I was now never going to let her out my sight. I kissed her hand looking straight at her beautiful face as the Doc said goodbye and left the room. 

The next few hours was pure agony just staring at her face barely blinking. I didnt bother trying to sleep and kept a constant tight hold on her hand. The Doc connected her to a heart moniter to keep a check on her heart rate and hearing its slow beats kept mine going faster. The beats were way too slow, like they were going to stop soon which made my wolf whine loudly. A while later I heard the sounds of crashing and kids laughing which made me smile.

Everyone in this pack loved children and there was already plenty of them in it from age 1 - 50! My mum came in a few times with tears in her eyes and stayed with me for a few minutes just taking in my mates beauty. Meg entered staying silent till she got to the other side of the bed. I kept my eyes still on my mate as she spoke. "Shes a cool chick from what I hear" My ears pricked up a bit. "The kids we found, they are funny as hell and apparently think of her like a mum. They will fit in well here" She didnt even bother to ask if they were staying as she knew the answer. If my mate loved them and was all she used to have then she will never lose them.

"How many of them?" My voice sounded croaky but I had a small smile on my face. "Loraine is 6 and a sweetheart. Then there is Clay who is a right trouble maker who has taken a liking to Charlie. And last is your mothers new obsession, the two 1 year olds who I want to squeeze till they burst" I gave a bigger smile taking my eyes from my mate for a moment and looking at Meg who had bags under her eyes. "Sounds brilliant. Now why dont you go get some sleep, I am going to need help explaining all this to her in the morning" I nodded to my mate and Meg looked at her sadly. Never the less she patted me on the shoulder and left.

I stayed awake all night no matter how tired I felt untill the Doc came in at 8am to stop the drop and wake her up. "She will wake up in the next few hours and will probably be very gruggly and dizzy for a few minutes but just give her some liquids and PLENTY of food to take that away" He exclaimed the food part knowing how unnurished she was. I nodded to him a smile appearing on my face. I couldnt wait to see her beautiful eyes and hear her voice again to reassure me of her excistace as I could only see her as a angel at the moment. 

The clock went by slower then ever but by 1pm I felt her hand tighten around mine. I jumped up in my seat with wide eyes as she moaned a bit in pain before starting to open her eyes. I knew better then to call the doctor as it might scare her and just waited for her eyes to open fully. It took a few seconds but her eyes opened looking around my room confused. "Dont worry, your safe" I quickly added seeing her panicked eyes. "And the kids are safe as well. My family is actually falling in love with them I think" I joked but her face remained netrual. 

I bit my lip worried about her and remembered she needed fluids. I handed the plastic cup of water and put it to her mouth knowing her body would be feeling heavy. She took small sips making me smile at her effort and willingness for me to help her. "Thank you" Her voice was shallow and croaky but beautiful all the same. Her eyes avoided mine and she looked around the room recognition appearing in her eyes. "Deja vu, huh?" Her lips raised a bit as she spoke my ealier thought making me laugh. "Yeah......How are you feeling?" My eyes bored into hers as she frowned a little.

"Ive been better" She gave a tiny laugh. "Actually, I probably havent" The fact she was making a joke out of it told me that she didnt want to talk about it or sound serious. I gave a small smile as the door burst open and a two small kids ran in the room screaming Ella's name. I growled at first at disturbing her resting but as soon as I heard her beautiful laugh I moved for the kids to get to her side. They jumped on the bed but avoided contact with her luckily before I killed them for interupting her recovery. 

"ELLA! THIS HOUSE IS AMAZING! I MADE COOKIES DOWNSTAIRS!" The girl I assumed was Loraine and she had pure love in her eyes to our mate making me grin. Ella took Lorains hand into hers smiling a little from effort. "That is amazing kiddo, although I expected nothing less from a princess" Lorain and her giggled before the other kid who I assumed was Clay butted in. "I HELPED!" He crossed his arms in jelousy making me laugh at how much we were alike. "Of course you did! Every princess needs a Pince Charming to help her" Ella said as if it was obvious as the kids started to argue at who really made the biscuits.

Ella's eyes turned to mine with much emotion in them that my mouth sprung open. I saw the small part of love and admiration that made me smile back at her. She mouthed thank you before interupting the kids argueing.

I looked at her with pride as a Meg, Charlie and my mother entered out of breath. "DAMN! Them kids can run" Charlie said out of breath as I looked at him and smiled. This room was now my heaven. With my family, my friends, my mate and the kids she thought of as her own. I dont think life got much better then this.And it probably wont as as soon as this is over, I have to start finding out more about her and getting her into recovery. 

But right now, I will enjoy this moment.
