Flashback
"I hate you…It’s over Matt" I choked out the last words, Matt looked at me with hurt eyes. "That’s your choice huh?" He said softly. "Yeah, it is… I’m done with you Espinosa, just done." I replied forcing tears back. He looked down into my eyes. I felt the tears start to fall again, he grabbed his phone from the table, and slowly made way towards the front door.
I watched as he walked, he turned and took one last look at me. He opened his mouth to say something, but then closed it. He opened the door and walked out of my life for good…
Casey’s Point Of View
I sat in front of laptop with my friend Mandy, we were doing a YouNow , we were answering questions and telling small stories like how we met and became friends. She looked over at me, “Are you okay?” She asked, I snapped back into reality, “Huh? Oh yeah, I am!” I said with a fake smile. She gave me a warm smile in return. “Okay, next question is for you.” She started, “Do you still love Matt?” she said the last part softly. I knew this question was going to be asked soon or later.
I cleared my throat, ” I don’t know really, it’s been awhile since I heard from Matt. ” I started. I got lost in my thoughts again, by then more questions about Matt began to show up. ” Maybe a year or two?” I said swallowing my tears. I looked down thinking of the times we pranked Nash and Hayes. When we ate so much junk food we stayed inside all day. The vlogs we did. I wiped my eyes quickly looking back up at the laptop. “It’s been a long past for me. But things happen for a reason right?” I said, this time tears were falling.
I shrugged a little, my eyes were getting puffy. ” It just didn’t work out… But I m-moved on. ” I choked out, more tears fell this time. I shook my head and wiped my eyes. I opened my mouth to say something but shut it. Mandy looked at me in tears, “Casey,” She started. She gave me a side hug, “D-don’t cry.” She said softly. But it was too late, I put my head on my hands and cried. I dated Matt since I was about 15 years old, but we broke up when we were 18, and now that I’m 20 I don’t know what I want to do with life now.
Mahogany’s Point Of View
I watched Casey YouNow, I felt my eyes water, I began to cry. Everyone around the table looked at me, “Are you okay?” asked Nash, I looked at him and shook my head. “N-nash, she’s really hurt!” I cried. He got up from his seat and stood behind my chair watching the video. "I miss him a lot. But I can’t hold on to the thought of him any longer." said Casey. I looked behind at Nash, he had a frown on his face. “Wow..” he said. I sniffed, seconds later the rest of the boys got behind me. We watched the last bit of the video.
"I just want to say, Matt if you’re watching this. I just want you to know, I miss you dearly. And I hope that lucky girl is loving you as much as I did." she finishes. Mandy held Casey close giving her prep talks. The video turned off, I sat back and looked at the screen. I looked over at Matt who didn’t bother to watch the video. He sat on the other side crying.
We all were crying at one point. ” Bro,” Carter said softly to Matt, “she misses you.” He added. Matt looked at Carter still crying, ” I miss her too, I miss her too.” He looked down at the table, we surrounded Matt giving him a group hug. I let another tear fall. “Matt, you guys are in love.. S-she really cares about you. ” I said softly to him.
He swallowed hard, ” I c-care about her too Mahogany, but she told me she never wanted me back. ” He whispered. My heart broke, “Matt..” I started. He rose from his sit leaving the room, I started to follow him but was stopped by Taylor. ” Let him be.. he needs space.” mumbled Taylor hiding the fact that Casey was his best friend and he looked seeing her and Matt happy but it was gone. Two years since they broke up, their feelings are real..Everything about them were real. Everything.
Matt’s Point Of View
I walked to my hotel room, I swung open the door and walked in, I turned and slammed it shut. I looked down at my feet. Two fucking years. Two years. I walked over to the bed, I let my body fall onto the bed. I looked up at the ceiling, ” I miss you Casey.” I said softly. I sniffed and rubbed my eyes. Two years since I last heard her cute laugh, since I kissed her soft lips. Since I looked into those beautiful eyes of hers.
I grabbed my phone and quickly checked twitter to see if she had said anything. I was right, she tweeted about three minutes ago.
"Sometimes it’s alright to cry over the one you truly care about."
" Love is only as strong as the two who put effort into it."
" I fucking miss you."
"@TheMattEspinosa and I are still friends, I’m sorry about the break down I had, it’s just been rough for me the past weeks.. "
I read every last tweet she tweeted since the YouNow, fans were going crazy, they kept tweeting her and I both.

I sat up in the bed, I put my head on my hands. ” I still love her.” I said to myself, I looked over at my iPhone. I quickly grabbed it and dialed her number. It took two rings for her to pick up, “Hello?” She answered sounding tired. I felt my stomach flutter.
"Hey, it’s Matt.." I said softly, she gave me a weak chuckle mixed with a cry. "Matt? Is it really you?" She said, I smiled a little. "Y-yeah, " I started. She sniffed, " Can we talk? I need to see you.. Are you in the Atlanta area?" I asked. "Y-yeah, I am." she replied in a low tone. "Meet me at the Red Light Cafe?" I said, "Alright." She said.
" I miss you." I said.
" I miss you too," She said, after a minute we both hung up. I walked into the bathroom fixing myself, my eyes were red and puffy, I used a wet wash rag to help the puffiness go down quicker, I finished and brushed my teeth. I walked out of the bathroom and saw everyone sitting around the room, "Where are you going?" asked Cameron.
"To get Casey back." I said.
Everyone’s face lite up, “That a boy!” cheered on Taylor calmly. I smiled weakly and nodded. “I gotta go, I’ll be back..” I said, everyone nodded their heads. “Tell her I said hello.” said Mahogany.
