Your Point Of View
The sunlight shined in my eyes, I groaned and sat up in my bed. I sighed and looked at my clock, 10:35 am. August 5, my birthday. Today I was turning 16, oh great. I got out of bed and made my way downstairs, I walked into the kitchen hoping to find at least a gift or a card. But I was wrong. There was nothing. Only a note that read:
Dear (Y/N),
I went out for a little bit, also don’t forget to pack for the Magcon Tour, Bart told me to remind you. I hope turns out great. xoxo MomI sighed and sat on the island in the kitchen. “Of course she forgot, she always do! She did this for the last three years!” I said to myself. I looked around the lite up kitchen. Spending my 16th birthday packing and doing nothing. Oh what a great birthday, well at least my friends might text me. Hopefully.
Just then I got a text, it read :
“Hey (Y/N) I hope the tour goes great! Tell Nash I love him! Please!!”I rolled my eyes, I started to get upset. It seems like everyone forgot my birthday. I clenched my jaw, wiping my now damp eyes. Do I even matter to people? I felt a tear fall, I quickly wiped it away. No crying, only two people forgot. No big deal.
I ate something for breakfast, after that I made my way back up the stairs. I changed into some sweats and a tank top, since I was going to be on a plane for a while, why should I get so dressed up? I picked out myself lazy day outfit.
I stepped into my Supras , I grabbed my beanie from my dresser. After a good 20 or 30 minutes I finished packing, I looked at myself in the mirror, I brushed my teeth. I left my hair in a messy bed hair style. I pulled the Beanie over my head, it sort of fixed my hair.
I grabbed my phone from off my bed, I slipped it into my pocket of my sweats. I grabbed hold of my suitcase, making way back downstairs. I looked around for the car keys. “Ah ha!” I said grabbing them from the kitchen counter. I made sure to grab my house key. And out the door I went. I walked over to my mom’s car, she had left for me.

I made it to the airport. I parked the car. Of course I’m not leaving it here, my mom’s friend is coming to get it. I looked up at the airport entrance.
“Flight 35 will be taking off in ten.” The overcon said. I got my bags from the car and dashed into the airport. ( A/N: moms friend has the spare key to the car. ) I made it before I was too late. I slapped my ticket onto the desk, ” I’m here!!” I panted. The desk lady scanned my ticket, ” Enjoy the flight, by the way I love your vines.” she said. I smiled at her, she must’ve been a fan!"Thank you!" I said running to the boarding plane. I finally reached my seat. "Um, you’re in my seat." I said to the boy. He turned and looked at me, it was Nash Grier I seen his vines before.
"Oh, I am? I’m so sorry." he started, "No, don’t it’s okay, I’ll sit next to you. No biggy." I said. He gave me a warm smile.
"So, why are you going to California?" He asked.
” I’m apart of this group called Magcon.” I said. His face lit up, “So you’re the guest of the tour?” He said. I looked at him, “Do you know aboutMagcon?”
He chuckled, “Yeah! I’m going on that tour too!” He said. I was surprised.
“Really?” I asked him. He smiled***
We talked and talked for hours during the plane ride, he made me forget it was my birthday, until he asked me about..well my birthday.
"So, when’s your birthday?" He asked.
I sighed, “It’s today.” He looked at me. “Happy birthday! Ey, why are you sad? It’s your birthday. You should be happy. ” He said. I shrugged my shoulders. “I know, but it’s like every other birthday I had the last three years. No one celebrated with me.” I said.
