I jolt awake all of a sudden and hit my head. Where am I? Oh no! I'm late for school! I immediately think. I must've fallen asleep in Nashs' car and not woken up. Crap!! I run out and check my watch. It's already 12 pm. We only have another 2 hours of school. I can't believe how I let myself fall asleep in that dang car. I run into the main office and get a crazy look from the ladies at the front desk.

"Um. May I help you?" One of them asks me hesitantly.

"Yeah, actually, my name is Kelsi Stewart and I'm a new student here."

"Why are you so late?" She raises an eyebrow.

"My house caught on fire"

" I do not appreciate sarcasm-"

A familiar voice all of a sudden butts in-" no really her house did catch on fire. Just this once Mrs.Gulop, please...?"
I turn around to find Nash. Nash defending me? For real? Am I still asleep? Is this a nightmare?

Apparently Nash worked his magic well enough because the lady motioned me to go. Suddenly Nash pulls my arm and locks the door into the nearest closet he sees.

"What the heck?! Let go of MMpfh-!"
He covers my mouth with his hand. I aim for his soft spot and grab the door. He winces in pain but grabs me by the waist and pulls me back.

He comes towards me. I prepare to be punched.
I put up my arms and hide my face.

"What in the freak are you doing?" He says.

I look up. Oh I suppose he's not going to hurt me today. I stand up slowly and his tone suddenly turns scary and controlling.

"You can't tell anyone we know eachother outside of school, not even your little nerdy friends. And I'm not giving you a ride back today."

"Don't worry" I say. "I don't even have the time of day to think about you, much
less talk about you."

"Good" he replies.

"On one condition" I say

"What?!" He says aggravated.

"You let me borrow your gym clothes for today. I cannot to to school looking like this.
